Dear DHL Express,

I hope this email finds you well as such difficult times.

I am writing this email to my sheer disgust and agony. The initial conversation that we had about the charges of moving our stuff back to our residence in Pune from Delhi Lajpat Nagar 1, the quotation given by your esteemed company was around 17, 000/- INR. You never mentioned on the call that there would be other surcharges and the total bill would inflate almost triple the price which is around 43, 500/- . I would also like to highlight why wasn’t the bill given when then cargo was being packed, you could have professionally reminded us by saying that the cost may increase we would’ve cancelled your services then and there. What’s the fictitious cost of 4, 000/- INR o[censored]nloading the bike, 1000 for packing charges & 1500 for loading charges. All the items were already communicated while the quotation were given.
Now the representative is accusing me that I hadn't communicated to him in the start about the items. On what basis was the quotation shared then?

Do you think the way you have generated bill is even authentic. It is a normal human understanding that the times are difficult and we are already having a tough time financially hence we are moving back to our own respective city due to the pandemic. Instead of considering the situation you are taking advantage of it and trying to rip us off. Please try to resolve this issue as soon as possible because this is no way a professional organisation behaves. Everyone is trying to help each out and you are trying to scam us.
Also to point out, the insurance amount wasn't been communicated to us before the consignment was out in transit.

My only concern is that I wouldn't have mind making payment had the final value been communicated to me before hand.
It was a sheer carelessness from your representative despite having a constant follow up on understanding the the value to be paid.

Such a customer service isn't what was expected by such a brand name. Highly disappointed with the way entire work has been handled.

    Hi, I've been trying to sort out my matter . It's been so many days. I am really looking forward. I really want to know by when will I get my parcel . Estimated delivery is 27th . It is the fourth day and it is still stuck there. On your website you have mentioned that your representative will contact me. They don't even attend properly, how can I expect them to call me and inform?
    Yesterday your representative was saying something else. Today I called in the morning he conveyed something else.
    If you had such an issue why did you pick up the parcel from the origin??
    Who is to be blamed here?
    Being a "PRIVILEGED CUSTOMER" should I just wait and still get no information about my parcel?
    I trusted DHL for this??!!
    Are you going to help me out? It's been 4 days.
    I have shared my payment details, the invoice with Ms Neha Ramnani . I even asked her to let me know the exact thing . If she is unable to handle this matter assign someone else. Some of your representatives do listen and understand. But do something now !!
    I'm sharing all the details as asked by your team .
    They did not even call me for verification purpose . I was the one who called them and asked about the exact paperwork requirement.
    How long shall I wait???

      I'd delivered my old belonging from UK to India to my old ailing mother. It's been more than 20 days, DHL have not been getting it cleared despite all documentation. Firstly, the DHL had put the contact details wrong on the parcel. They messed the documentation, my mother had to submit documents multiple times as they key harassing photo not clear, asking for more IDs. Now, the DHL have started to demand extra 3000 on my old belongings and the duty as per customs is only 1300 rupess as these are old belonging. The customer service is really poor and they do not answer queries on phone or via. email. I'm really stressed dealing with DHL and the serive level are extremely poor.
      DHL Express India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      DHL still not settling the original invoice they had sent have originall sent. We are happy to pay the enclosed amount. Customer service is at its lowest.

        I was charged remote area charges on a shipment for which I was denied that the area does not lie in the remote area by DHL executive on call. (5th March 2021 at 14:34 by ********12 to [protected])

        (I did not have remote area list during the initial shipments so I called DHL customer service and got the answer that the area does not lie in remote area.)
        Hence I shipped, but in billing RAS were mentioned.

        After talking to Mr. Muzammil ( DHL claim advisor) for a long time, got the answer that I need to coordinate with query team. He concluded it was mistakenly told by DHL executive, it was a human error due to some technical issue.

        Then Query team rejected the charges waive off request with the reason that the charges are correctly billed as the pin code lies in remote location.

        Dhl's negligence cost me these additional charges. The technical and human error is done on DHL's part. Absolutely disgusting.

        (Case opening date:- March 13 .and date I got final pathetic resolution is April 20.)

          Hi,

          I had couriered this from mohali to USA on 12.04.2021...500 grams of weight paying 4300 rupees for courier to reach USA San hose before 16 april...and this was agreed by DHL

          The moment it got dispatched, the date changed to 19 April...why is that so...

          The purpose of the courier is that on 17 april the person has a flight on which this package needs to be taken...can u prioritize the delivery else it's a wastage of courier...if reaching date is after 16 april.

          I am highly disappointed in DHL...and the same will be on all social media now...I am working with Mercedes Benz Germany where DHL is the only postal service in our office, I will make sure that they change the vendor next time.

              DHL KYC verification team is completely incompetent and cannot use their briains. I wonder if they have some other interests. Clearly, delivering the product to the customer is not something they want and they keep looking for extremely frivolous reasons to reject KYC and give hardship to the customer. Pathetic!!

                I have a shipment coming on my name it was shipped from origin country in February 2021 and was expected to be delivered within 7 days.
                However, it's been more than 2 months I have not yet received any update on the shipment nor DHL india providing any response. They have failed to their promise.

Very poor response due negligence of DHL we are loosing huge business.
                    If DHL cannot manage than he would have regretted before making payment. DHL manager is relaxed mood after receiving the payment.

                      My friend have sent the Wet-Grinder along with lactogen baby food powder from Trichy on 25th Feb to Sweet-Stockholm. He has checked with the vendor and confirmed that the lactogen powder can be included in the courier. Its reacged sweden on 1st week of March and then returned by mentioning that the lactogen powder is not allowed.

                      First concern is, it's almost one and half months but I am not getting any updates from the DHL...

                      My friend have sent the Wet-Grinder along with lactogen baby food powder from Trichy on 25th Feb to Sweet-Stockholm. He has checked with the vendor and confirmed that the lactogen powder can be included in the courier. Its reacged sweden on 1st week of March and then returned by mentioning that the lactogen powder is not allowed.

                      First concern is, it's almost one and half months but I am not getting any updates from the DHL sender (tied up with vendor) and even if I call them they are not not picking the call and not responding at all. The courier box contains two Wet-Grinders and it's cost around 17K INR and the shipping charge is around 20K INR. Could you please help me to get the amount reimbursement as I am not getting any updates and response from them.

                      Second concern is, Though the vendor sent the items without knowing the process, I am wondering that how this could be processed from DHL when verifying the items when sending it to stockholm.

                      Third concern is, as I have 9 months baby, the Wet-Grinder is must as I need to feed some idly and dhosa. As it's very delayed, I am planning to purchase one from sweden, hence pls help me to get the amount which I spent for both grinders and dhl shipping charge.

                        I ordered a product from US and it was shipped by DHL, due to customs problem the product is stuck in customs. we tried contacting dhl through mail and through phone there is no response. please do the needful by calling us back

                            It has been stuck in Bangalore airport for more than 10 days. Have to keep calling DHL to get updates. No email gets replied back. Even following up is an issue. Such a pathetic courier service.

                              My AWB no. [protected]
                              How many months keep in Customs, almost 5 months(November 1st, 2020) the shipment arrived at Banglore. 3 months wasted due to DHL KYC process and I paid almost half cost of shipment to Customs charges for DHL KYC delay only.

                              On February 1 st I paid customs charges, still DHL is saying it is under customs only. At least one person in DHL don't have responsibility and accountability. DHL intensionally delayed the product and charge more duties and taking salaries from our charges. What DHL team is doing in office, simply saying "shipment is under process, we are raising to concern team to prioritise you shipment" for this sentence only your taking salaries. DHL eating CUSTOMERs money(our blood). I am really frustrating from 4 months due to DHL services.
                              Really DHL and DHL staff all are ###.

                                Its a shame that DHL could not able to clear my package which was from UK for more than a month. Even though i submitted all my KYC documents still they are in the stage of clearance. They even amended my bill and wanted me to pay 1000rs, Keeping my package without clearing i only have to put a penalty on them, still i agreed, as I need my laptop from UK sent by my head office to start my work.

                                Because of this I couldn't able to start my work for almost a month and missed lots of training class given by my office. After a good 48 days now again they demanding for more documents like BRC copy and Invoice which clearly says that they doesn't know the system & unfit for logistics business.

                                There was no proper response as well from the team, they are simply useless as they doenst know what they are saying. I heard from them that with 48hrs you package will be cleared for almost a month. Please help me on this.

                                  AWB#2109501656 - Ridiculous documentation process for my shipment!!

                                  It's been more than a week since my shipment landed at Bangalore customs. Since then I am contacting DHL customer care and CSA team for the clearance everyday. They are asking for new documents everyday and I'm clueless since this is the first time I'm importing on behalf of my company.

                                  My shipment was picked up from Taiwan on the 8th of February, this shipment is in the clearance stage for more than a week. There is no update from the clearance team regarding the reason for delay in the shipment. Can you please consider this on priority and do the needful.

                                    AWB - [protected] shipment landed at BOM airport on 7-Feb-2021. No one from DHL responding on time even after taking follow up and sending reminders. Package was not located by DHL till 22-Feb-2021. Pathetic service by DHL and team members involved in this shipment clearance. I need DHL to fire all these team members.
