Dish TV — Problems are deliberately created & services are charged from customer

We recently experienced very poor & unacceptable service issue with Dish TV. These people deactivated our connection.We recharged with some 6 months package.But still not able to view the channels. We can see 4-5 channels though.We checked the connection & everything is fine& in its place.Now dish TV service people say that their technician will visit our place & will try to identify the problem.Thus all these services will be chargeable.

According to them problem would be due to dialignment in the antenna.

Is this customers fault?? Should we pay forthis??

Or this is company strategy to generate business this way from people???According to us the problem has been deliberately created from Dish Tv & now asking consumers to pay unnecessarily.

We are very disappointed with DISH TV.

I fully agree with u that Dish Tv deliberately generate problems to earn money. I am also facing the same from last 8 months. One thing i want to tell u is if your Set top box is under warranty you are not require to pay any charges for technician visit though they will ask you 200 bucks.

As per the " THE DIRECT TO HOME BROADCASTING SERVICES (STANDARDS OF QUALITY OF SERVICE AND REDRESSAL OF
GRIEVANCES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2009" customer is not required to pay a single paisa i[censored]nder warranty STB is not working even for technician visit.
