DishTV — Dish tv dth service deducted money from my account through dish tv android app without asking for confirmation | |||||
I recently downloaded the dishtv android app on my phone and I was checking out features available in the app and my mistake I click a button called active games, and instantly without asking for any confirmation active games package got activated and money was deducted from my account. As much as I know no transaction can be carried out without confirmation from the customer, but here in this dish tv android app it activates service without asking for confirmation. Then I called the customer care and complained about this and told the executive that you have activated a service which I don’t want and the android app did not ask for any confirmation before activating the service, therefore I told the customer care executive to deactivate this active games service and refund the amount deducted from my account. To my surprise he straight away said your money is gone and we will not refund it, and we will deactivate the service next month. Is this not cheating, the company is ripping of our hard earned money through unethical means, Is there any means through which we can take any legal action against Dish TV without going through too many hassles My Dish TV VC no is.
