A defective dish tv set top box was replaced on 13/jan/18 with new set-top box. However, the said new set top box stopped working and was replaced with another set top box on 12/feb/18. No visiting charges were taken on 12/feb/18 (Monday) since it was within one month from 13/jan/18.
During the installation of another set-top box installed on 12/feb/18 there was viewing card error 402. Dish technician called the support and solved the issue and went. However, from 14/feb/18, same 402 error problem has started.
I had called dishtv support center on 14th and 15th, i was told that the technician will visit to solve the problem. Also visit charges will not be charged since the new set top box was recently installed on 12/feb/18 (Only 3 days back).
Now the distributor in my location is telling that the visit charges will be applicable.
I would like to state here that it is only 3 days before which the set top box was installed, then why visit charges are imposed. Probably, the box installed is defective. Was this information helpful? |
