DishTV — Fooled by Dish TV once again

I recently ordered HD set top box from the company mainly for the recording feature included in the equipment. I never ordered HD service from the company nor did I was ever asked because I hardly stay at home to watch TV, reason I wanted a recording device. This morning when I called the customer care to pre pay for the next year, I am told that the company is deducting double the amount for the service since I got the new device. Again, I was never told about this through any medium ( including the messages we see on TV) This is not the first time Dish TV is messing up with my bills without prior information. I have taken this before silently but am not doing it anymore. I am fed up with the robot like response from the customer service guys of Dish TV. I hope people up the management have better skills.
