[Resolved] DishTV — Inadequate information by Dish TV | |||
I had requested for a new connection from Dish TV and received a call back for the same on 26th Jan 2017. I explained them my requirements of channels and was offered an annual package stating it fullfills my requirement list and was told that i am getting HD cable box with un-limited recording for lifetime. I gave it a go and the installation was done on Saturday 28th Jan 2017. The services were activated late evening on saturday around 09:30 PM, and while going through the channels i found that most of the channels from my requirements are not working and giving a message to subscribe. My concerns: 1. The HD cable box i have received does not have a recording feature, rather it have a pen-drive slot which can be used for recording. So it seems that it is a wrong information provided by Distv before taking the connection. 2. Should have informed my prior taking the connection about the channels that will not be available in the package so that i can look for other alternatives. 3. Have been following up on this since Sunday which is also affecting my phone bill. Desirable resolution: 1. Compensate for the incorrect information provided and also for the calls that i have been making to get the issue resolved. 2. Take back your equipments, and refund my money back : 1500 (installation fee) + 120 (wire charge) = total of 1620 Was this information helpful? | |||
