I have taken a new multi connection. Even though I requested for the connection on 6th August, the actual connection was made on 8th August after many follow ups. But they have considered 6th as start up date for considering charges on my set top box. When I told them that I want to finalise my package, I was told that first one month is free and after one month I can choose my package. For safety, I paid Rs.1001 on 13/08/15. When I contacted Dish TV customer care on 2nd September to finalise Jumbo Family South + Jumbo family HD (Rs.215 + 140), I was told that I am on south Platinum pack and I cant downgrade. I am surprised because who has fixed me for South Platinum package. If I was told this in the begining, I would not have taken this connection at all. I want to add other required channels as per my wish on al-a- cart basis along with Jumbo Family South + Jumbo family HD. I am getting unneccessary channels but not getting channels which are important for me. My requirements apart from Family South + Jumbo family HD are Channel Nos- 90/91/92/93/917/919/950/963 and all kids channels 511/512/513/515/518/523/524/525/531/532. I am not interested in any other channels. Please allow me to choose my package instead of insisting what I should take and what I should see. I had to contact DISH customer care three times and each time it has taken 25 minutes to make them understand what I want, but without any result. Please help me.
