[Resolved] DishTV — Recurring Signal Problems and Customer Service | |||
I have the following grievances against Dish TV:1. Every month, there is a connecting Issue saying no signal, especially during prime time TV viewership. For example, today, there has been no rain, yet the signal shows poor. No connection available. 2.The customer service is simply terrible. They keep you on hold as long as you can endure. Today, I got through on my third attempt after being kept on hold for 9 minutes. Then starts the next problem, the service agent is not able to resolve the issue, says its a dish problem. The technician will have to be sent to change the angle of the dish. Firstly, every visit of the technician is charged about 140. Secondly, if there is any change in equipment, additional costs are incurred, higher than the market costs. Why does not the company simply state the angle the dish needs to be aligned to. Imagine bearing an additional cost every month over such issues. 3. The service does not include a number of religious channels of other faiths except the religion followed by the majority of this country. They are not even available a la carte option The only reason I am using this set top box is because it belongs to the owner of the flat.
