I signed up for Dish sevices while at the Fair. I was promised a sports team cover for the satellite dish, but was never given to me because the tech said it gets too hot in the summer and causes problems for the satellite. After a year I moved across the state, upon reconnecting Dish network the tech came 2 hrs before scheduled and I told him I wasn't set-up yet. I would like the other tech I spoke to that gave me the scheduled time. He said he was in the area, either I got him now or I would have to reschedule for another day. He then proceeded to say that he didn't care because he was quitting for another job anyway. Upon the completion of my two year contract, I called to terminate my services. I talked with Erik, ID K4J. I told him that my husband lost his job and we could no longer afford the services. He was relentless about not letting me terminate Dish to the point I became upset and asked to talk to a supervisor. He never transferred to a supervisor and said I would have to pay an early termination fee. I told him that the first rep I spoke with told me my contract expired in two days and that's when I wanted it terminated so why would I have to pay an early termination fee? He finally agreed to cancel the service, and guess what?? My services were cancelled a day early. I was already stressed out about our situation, but Erik took my stress to a whole new level. I was a loyal customer, but because of Erik I will NEVER subscribe to Dish services again. I will also tell everyone about my experience with Dish services before they choose a provider.
