[Resolved]  DishTV — Request for deactivation for three months in the year 2016 (Vc no.[protected])

Dear sir, It is submitted that I had approached Custmer care og Dish TV on 30 Dec 2015 for deactivation of TV connection wef 01 Jan 2016 to 27 Mar 2016 and I was given assurance that once I pay monthly subscription, request for deactivation will be considered. I paid a sum of Rs 549/- for a month's subscription and again approached Customer care for deactivation and I got a negative response saying that I had already taken deactivation for one month in the year 2015 i.e. June & Nov and now deactivation request can not be considered till June 2016. Year is counted from 01 Jan to 31 Dec but DishTV counts from the day of first deactivation. If it is so I should get my Rs 549 / back which the organisation is refususing. Now I request to look into the matter so that I must get refund of Rs 549/- . I am out of Hyderabad and not using my TV since 01 Jan 2016. I am also enclosing emails to and from Dish TV as under: Dear Sir/Madam, Happy new year. I have been associated as customer with DishTV since 2005. During these 10 years I have requested for temporary deactivation twice only that is in the year 2015 ( June & Nov). Presently I am away from Hyderabad with my family for three months and I request you for temporary disconnection w.e.f. 03 Jan 2016 to 27 Mar 2016. In this regard I approached customer care on 30 Dec 2015 for temp deactivation from 1/1/2016 to 27/03/2016 and I got a positive response that min balance for deactivation should be Rs 100/ and deactivation charges for three months will be Rs. 90/. I paid through credit card Rs. 549 on the same day. I again approached customer care on 31 Dec 2015 then I was told that you have availed deactivation twice in the year and request can not be accepted. It is submitted that I am away from Hyderabad for three months for some treatment and I will be back on 27 mar 2016. Last two deactivations were in the year 2015 and no deactivation from 2005 to 2014. Therefore I requst you to deactivate my DishTV connection with immediate effect till 27 Mar 2016 as a special case. In case if you are not in position to deactivate, I request you to refund my deposited money Rs 549/ and deactivate connection permanently. Hoping to receive a favourable response from you.
