[Resolved] DishTV — unfair trade practice - misappropriation of advance payment. | |||||
Sir, I am a dish tv dth customer from 2013 and i have been paying my annual subscription charges in advance. I have subscribed to southall sports channels pack with monthly subscription charge of rs 295/-. I was receiving monthly statement of accounts stating my switch off date is 13/3/2019. But, suddenly on 13/12/2018 by their statement no. Dish tv 19381572 for the month of november 2018 without my knowledge or consent they misappropriated rs 450/- from my payment and advanced my switch off date to 26/1/2019 thereby depriving me of 45 days of subscription. I have not asked for or availed any additional services to warrant a deduction of my advance payment. I have written many letters to them asking for an explanation for this arbitrary change and unfair trade practice. But so far they have refused to give me an answer in writing. So i request them to revert to my earlier switch off date and restore my subscription validity to 13/3/2019 as intimated to me on payment of one year subscription. My vc no.
