[Resolved]  DishTV — wrongly deactivated my dishtv connection

I have 2 dishtv connection in my family at 2 different places. On 22nd april i made a request via twitter to deactivate my second account as there is nobody at that place.

Inspite of providing exact & clear details your customer care guys messed up and instead deactivated my primary account which is at the location where all of the family members are currently.

Please rectify this and activate my dishtv connection immediately with vc no. [protected]

(Currently account balance is more than rs.2100)

DishTV has did nothing except the usual "We've forwarded your issue to the concerned department" rhetoric. Why have you mark this issue resolved ? Its still not resolved.
DishTV customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Complaint got resolved over telephone. They put me on long hold several times & finally my patience paid off. But I'll never ever forget this horrible experience. After the lockdown ends and after my current balance gets exhausted I'm gonna throw this pathetic service out of my house.

Unable to add any paid channel. Stuck to only free channels like Doordarshan. Upon contacting them they're repeating same thing over and over that we can't do any further help and wait more for resolution.. Really fed up now.

My complaint has still not been resolved despite several emails & numerous phone calls & social media messages. And the funny thing is that I'm still being charged everyday for the service I'm unable to avail(i.e account balance keeps deducting everyday).

I give up for now.

Once the lockdown ends I'm gonna register a complaint against you in consumer forum.

Finally my complaint has now been resolved. I don't know if it is due to this forum or one of numerous other places where I had registered my complaint for the same.

Anyway, thanks for the lesson. I'll now never ever invest large amount of money (in the form of advance recharge) for any such service.
