DMart — Misbehaving with Customer

Dear D-Mart Customer Care Team,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your [D-Mart Electronic City, Bangalore] store.

I have been a regular and loyal customer, purchasing items worth approximately ₹10, 000 every week. However, during my recent visit I was wrongly accused by a lady staff member on the first floor of consuming a store product (Tic Tac) without payment.

I had clearly mentioned that the item was purchased outside the store, and even provided the purchase bill as proof. Despite this, the staff spoke rudely, failed to apologize, and treated me with disrespect. The manager, Mr. Shivakumar, was present during the incident but did not ensure a proper apology or resolution. Instead, the staff continued to behave inappropriately and even did not care when I mentioned that I would provide feedback.

Such treatment towards loyal customers is unacceptable and disappointing. It reflects a lack of basic customer service training and a poor attitude toward genuine shoppers. I felt humiliated and disrespected for no fault of mine.

I request that D-Mart:

1. Investigate this incident and take appropriate action against the concerned staff.
2. Ensure staff training on professional and respectful customer interaction.
3. Provide a formal apology for the humiliation caused.

Please treat this as a serious concern and share a written response on the actions being taken.
I sm ready to share the Attached bill copy as proof of my outside purchase.

Thank you for your attention. I hope D-Mart will handle this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
