Domino's Pizza — poor response | |||
I placed an order with Dominos online for pizza, garlic bread, stuffed garlic bread, veg taco, veg burger and cheese dip(one each). Placed order at 1952 and received a confirmation. On track your order, it claimed that Vinod was on his way to deliver the order. At 2110 called up helpline and was told the order was on its way and would be delivered in 05 to 10 min. Called up help line at 2124 and again I was told the same thing by Abhishek who also gave me Green Park store number which no one picked up despite repeated calls. I called up help line again but no change. I posted a message on feedback to cancel the order at 2130 after waiting for one hour 40 min. While we were leaving for dinner at 2155 the order was received. The order was delivered by a boy Tapan Mandala (not Vinod as stated on the website for one hour). The worst was yet to come. On checking the order we discovered that despite the bill stating otherwise Veg Taco and Cheesy dip was missing. The boy did not warn us about the shortfall. He claimed that he brought the food within 05 minutes of being handed over the order. When we opened the order, it was cold which confirms that the boy did not tell us the truth. We paid the bill after deduction of the missing items. He was clueless about the gst charged extra which should have been made. It is evident that it was a poor service from Dominos and totally avoidable. What is sad is the reply to the feedback which said someone will call back in 24 hrs.
