I had been thrice to Mehta hospital for consulting Dr. Jayaraman (Chest Medicine).
Had found the supportive staff very unfriendly and lack of proper knowledge.
Even the doctor who is supposed to come by 9am came twice around 9.45am and once by 10.20am.
The lady for registering names for visiting doctors was rude when I enquired about the late arrival of the doctor. She responded to my queries very arrogantly, giving me an impression that she could had have worked in a Government hospital before.
And the one at the Cash counter was not aware of the charges for the tests I did (ECG, Xray, Blood test etc). Every time, I was made to go back to the concerned departments to know what the cost was.
Also the personnel at Reception were unable to guide me properly. They said I can come by 8 am to do PFT but made me wait till 9.45 am (that is when ECG department was opened on 4/10/2010).
Also right from registering my telephone number till writing my Patient ID on the file, all were with typos what I had corrected them.
I faced such poor customer experience on all three of my occasions to this hospital.
I would strongly suggest to think twice before going to this hospital.

I agreed with the above complaint and I had a worst experience with the hospital.
I never see a worst management and administration like Mehta hospital in my life .Doctors are some what good but nurses and admin and cash collecting deparment is very worst i[censored] go to these deparments you can see at least one person is shouting about the these deparment.I was admitted my 1 year baby there for severe cough for four days .he want to watch TV so we got Remote for a Tv in our room from cash collecting deparment they asked Rs 500 for giving Remote my husband gave Rs 500 and got the remote they did n't give any recepit for that . we dont know that we have to collect recepit for remote because that was the first time we went to that hospital.while we discharged from the hospital we return the remote they asked the recepit we said u did n't give any recepit we collected the remote from a person sitting in the cash counter on 14-sep 3 p.m .the cash department head Mr. Santhanam said that u stolen the remote from another room now asking for rs 500.I am working in a software company as Seniour software engineer and my husband is working in ICICI bank.The admin santhanam told that we got the remote from another room for 500 rs .I shouted that fellow and throw the remote in dustbin.we dont want to waste our time in this issue because my son was so weak and not well.Do u know I have paid 22000 thousand as hospital bill but had a worst experience with this hospital
