DTDC Courier & Cargo Complaints & Reviews

I was under the impression that DTDC was one of the better courier services. Well, I was wrong! A courier was sent to me from Delhi on Friday, 20 Feb. I kept tracking its status only to find it changing from ATTEMPTED to OUT FOR DELIVERY over a few days. Today, day 6, I called DTDC, and was informed that they had attempted to deliver the envelope three times but the door was locked. I told them this could not have been the case, since it is my mother's residential address and she is always at home. A few hours later, the envelope was delivered. When I asked the DTDC representative who delivered the envelope about the alleged three previous attempts, he admitted that no previous attempts had been made. So not only is DTDC inefficient (a courier to take 6 days??), but it is also dishonest in its dealings with its customers. I will not use DTDC if I can help it.

I had sent a mobile phone from DTDC couriers in january 2015. It was an iphone and the phone being expensive I took no chances at all and sent the product through secure delivery and also insured the product. Earlier I was under the impression that DTDC was one of the good couriers in India, one you could trust, but after this I do not know what to say. When I gave the phone for delivery they said it would be delivered in 2 days time but after a week when the product did not reach the destination I went to the DTDC office and they very simply and coldly said to me that my phone was lost. It contained all my details and important stuff. As i had insured the product I filed a claim. They said to me they will call me back after 2-3 days but when again they failed to do so I had to go back again. I am tired of visiting their office again and again and every time they say me the same thing that they will call me but this leads to nothing.The tracking on their website shows "DELIVERED" but it has not been on the address i gave them. First they don't deliver the product i gave them and lose it even though it was sent through SECURE service, and secondly they don't give me the insurance on the iphone. I did not expect this kind of behaviour by such a company. Really dissapointed by DTDC Couriers.Seems to me that they cant be trusted anymore. Consignment number-V21053973 Phone number-[protected]

weighing 3.700 kg sent from Delhi to Shillong on 10.02.2015 through DTDC Office, Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi. Consignment reached Shillong DTDC Office on 13.02.2015. Samsung Galaxy S5 phone has been reportedly missing on the way via Delhi to Guwahati and the weight measure show 3.400 kg, 300g short of the Original Weight when sending from Delhi.

I am very sorry to inform that on 21.02.2015 I booked an envelope ( Very light weight) to Pune from your Gwalior (M.P.) office. The consignment number is V[protected] in the name of Mr Shashank Jain. Your Gwalior booking office assured me that the envelope would be delivered positively on 23.02.2015 and charged Rs 240/- as special freight charges. It was an important envelope containing papers which have to be submitted by the evening of 23rd Feb. To my surprise the envelope didn't reach to its destination till 24th Feb. Later it was delivered in the noon of 25th Feb. Due to this delay I have suffered with a great loss because the last date of submission was over. Dear Sir, Please note i had booked my parcel from dtdc from mumbai to Dibrugarh on 19 feb 2015 for a air cargo... 1) They openend up my shipment without informing me. 2) They sent the parcel in 2 different section without telling me. 3) They dispatched the shimpment from mumbai on 21 Feb 2015 4) They sent the shipment by surface after giving me Awb receipts of Air. 5) They changed my airwabill number and din't inform me. I hv my sisters marriage on 25th for which i requested them to send this on a urgent bases. Please note i will be going to the consumer court regarding this matter . DTDC cargo is a big fraud. I shifted to Chennai from Kolkata recently. From Kolkata, i sent some personal belongings of mine through DTDC cargo. One red bag with few dresses inside it was stolen. Also, i collected few coins as it was my hobby. They stole those coins too. They charged me 800 rs extra as they said the things will be packed in boxes. Instead they sent it in plastic bags. Now the customer care are not receiving calls. Is this service you promise to provide to customers? Government, please take some action against DTDC.

I sended a myntra full sealed packet @address Vector e commerce pvt ltd Dev niwas k2 block khasra no 819 mahipalpur behind apra maruti shorum new delhi 110037 from DTDC Alpha 1 greater noida on 14th feb with tracking details Z43935720. There were total 4 items in packet 1 bag, 2 shirts and 1 bag, from these only 1 bag was received and remaining 3 items got stolen. Please take a serious action towards this bad thing happened with me. DTDC is an international courier service and this thing happened in a small destination is not a good thing. Help me to get my things back. They worth Rs6000 and all items were brand new, i was sending them back at myntra return deck to get refund.

Dear Sir, I am jagannath i sent one parcel from pune viman nagar office to nawrangpur Orissa on date 10/02/15 but parcel not yet received at receiver end. Parcel contains brand new LG Mobile with accesories total cost was 17000rupees. As per parcel attandent of DTDC she suppose to deliver material before 14/02/15 but its yet not recceived at receiver end. When i asked she told the pin code wrongly punched in system and it is in samabalpur. After that she gave me her regional manager number name Mr.Prasad. I asked Mr.Prasad regarding this as per him parcel is not traceble might be it is lost vigilance team working on this. After asking more he told me you can go any where for your parcel may be consumer court. I think DTDC regional manager is telling like this. Being a customer i should not here the same. This is the worst service which i ever seen in my life. i think i can not get any help. I fed up with DTDC. Going DTDC center and calling customer care.consuming lots of money on phone calls. I have to go consumer court if i did not receive parcel with in 2 days. and i have to communicate the same to all my proffesional media and social networks. Need to involve media person for this. On[protected] I had booked a consignment from New Delhi. The delivery address was Kolkata. Today, when I asked your Delhi regional office they have informed that the consignment have been delivered yesterday. But The letter have not been received at Kolkata. Therefore it must have been delivered at a wrong address. I therefore request you to please look into the matter so that the item is delivered at the correct address. We had booked a courier No. P31158792 from SANGOLA (NEW) – PANDHARPUR to CHITTOOR Andhra on Wed, Feb, 11, 2015 07:35 PM. But the courier still not received in Chittoor address and while verify the tracking it shows in Transit since 14 Feb-15 12:48 PM. We have registered complaints in their office but no use. Its almost 10 days now. Even had spoken to one of their CS manager named Ms. Premalatha @ bangalore. But 24 hours had gone no reply. Can anyone help us in this regard.

HSBC sent me a my credit card PIN through DTDC. The courier was supposed to reach my office. At first it showed status as ATTEMPTED(which is totally false). As I was in office for the the complete day and my phone was never off. Now they are showing it to be RTO_INTR. That means they have returned the courier without even trying once. This is pathetic

I am couriered my Job Application on 7/2/2015 by DTDC courier, Nanded to address of General Manager, Sunderlal Sawji Co-op Bank, Head Office, APMC Market Yard, Jintur 431509 Dist. Parbhani. After that on 9/2/2015 I goto courier office for asking courier not reached then person says that parsal is in Transport tommarow it will be delivered but on 10/2/2015 its not delivered upto 4 Pm then my Brother for asking courier he said that our service is not available to that address only upto 431501 ( Parbhani ). Then what to do now because my life's best change is lost due to this Courier .

Hi I have purchased a product through online and payment also done. Concern department sent the product through DTDC service. My consignment no is Z45326227. On last Friday on 13/02/2015 I have seen my product receive your lake view branch which in Kolkata. Suddenly I contract your branch on phone and they conform me deliver on same day if any problems happened they call me. But no reply comes from there end and my product returned. Next day on 14/02/15 I have personally visited lake view branch (kolkata) and they tell me my product RTO. One of the officer of there branch name is AMER[protected] he conform me to handover whitin 3 days. After 3 days you come to our office and collected the same. But already 5 days gone no future communication receive from there end. My question is where customer is contractable how its going to RTO case??? I sent some gift coupons for my parents to Kendrapara with docket number P3108862. Now it went missing. DTDC stated that the material is lost somewhere in between. The customer care is useless telling to recover the money franchisee. Total amount of gift coupons were of 2000. DTDC can play with anything. This is now official. Thanks Ashis

Below is the detail of my courier and it was supposed to received at Gurgaon SP-infocity but Gurgaon delivery guys was saying as it is around 10 km away from my current location and it supposed to send by some nearby branch so I am not going to deliver this packet and then I re-route this packet to Delhi address. Item in packet was costly and no of item was 3 but time of delivery it was found 2 items. I co-ordinate with DTDC Chandigarh guys he was saying sir we can’t do anything as delivery guys is not DTDC guys. So it can be happen and even he was saying you must be informed us that this packet contains costly items and no of items. Then we can pay special attention to that courier. Otherwise we are not liable for any loss. Even when I say “I am going to drop the mail against you to your concern department and in FIS concern department to stop further dealing with DTDC services” he was replied ok sir you can do whatever you want. I was surprised by that people behaviour even though he gave the information that package weight is found different in from Gurgaon to Delhi re-route process. I sent this post to MIRYALGUDA, Nalgonda, 508207, but the location is showing SURYAPET.. I want to know the full details and where the mistake is placed as soon as possible.
