Dear Sir,

I had sent one document related to my mothers pension (consignment # P[protected] by DTDC to Bhopal from Pune on 27/11/2012 but it still not reached the concerned person. When I inquired about it today (17/12/2012) they said they had delivered it on 10/12/2012. but when i checked with the recipient he said he didnt. So i asked them to provide me where exactly they delivered and to whom they delivered it. or if they can provide me the contact number of delivery boy i can check with him about the delivery. but they are not able to provide me that as well.

Please help me as the consignment contains the document related to pension and bank.

We appreciate the concern shown by you.
To update you with the below case, we have received the consignment back; however the current condition of the consignment gives me an impression of how badly DTDC Executives handle a customer’s consignment. I now am left to believe the executives never even bothered to understand the intensity of the importance of the goods that the customer wants to deliver!
To inform you of the background of the case, the consignment was a piece of art, which was a sample piece to one of my perspective client which only because of the delay and the inconvenience caused cannot be a part of my business deal anymore!
I believe the type of experience that I shared succeeds in neglecting the service assurance that you promise!

Now that I have had such an experience, below are the points to highlight:
The painting is now fully damaged, attached can you find the image of the painting and its current condition!
1. Me and my client were made to waste most of our precious time tracing the consignment, but we believe the attempts we made were in vain! My clinet personally tried contacting the Ahemadabad DTDC office numerius time, but was only left with vague answers and assurances that the package is on its way while the reality we believe was that the package was damaged before it was dispatched from Ahemadabad Office as the track records suggest that the package was returned back due to damage!
2. We are unable to understand why the package was sent back to Ahemdabad after it was dispatched due to damage, further wasting our time!
3. The authority never even bothered to inform either of the parties of the current status of the package as it was damaged and dispatched it back without intimation!
4. The package was not given due importance it needed, as we can see the package was damaged into pieces, the package was not at all taken care of
5. The package was opened without prior information.

After having traced the package for a long month, the result is that the product is into pieces, I have lost my client, and while me and my client had to waste most of our precious time tracing the package the package was travelling places for no valid reason.
We have examined the Parcel and we believe that it must have been damaged due to careless handling during transport.
As it was a sample piece for my Business Development the futuristic value of which cannot be translated in monetary terms and which we have lost all due to the services that we were provided by DTDC. We now wish to claim for the damage, the delay and the inconvenience caused both to me and my client.
The purchasing price of the product being Rs 9,000.00; we request you to please provide us with the procedure to claim for the compensation at the earliest or else I will be left with no other option than to file a case against and go public with the service quality and management issues with the company.
Also if you are unable to reply me the solution to the case, please provide me with the contact details of the higher authority, as we were unable to find any details of the Nodal Officer on your website.
We would highly appreciate you to look into the matter and take the same seriously, as it is I have lost a month dealing with your management!

I have sent a courier from Bidar (City of Karnataka State) by "AIR MODE",on Saturday Dated[protected], and it was promised to me that the parcel will be delivered at the Said Address on Monday[protected] but as on[protected] the courier has not been delivered to the Adress the Consignment number of the parcel is (D[protected]

I have a painful experience with DTDC.
I have not received the consignment number B87964902 booked with DTDC on 30/11/2012. The post was booked in Bangalore and it reached vadodara on 3rd December2012. This information is available in their tracking service(that also most of the time not working)
I tried the vadodara super franchise number ([protected] and [protected]) several times but they are not responding. Either they put of the phones or they don't lift the call. I tried the customer care number [protected] of DTDC Ahmadabad but they are not at all lifting the phone. No one is accountable or responsible in this in this company. I request you to help me to get my document. I also suggest the public to keep away from this service

I have sent a courier from DTDC on 30/11/12 from Kolkata to Pune with there "blue" servise facility which ensures that it will reach the destination in 48 hours. Being sunday a holiday in between I was told that it will reach at monday morning. But today its already monday night and it hasn't reached. I just cannot understand when someone is doing the courier with extra benefits then also the situation is this. Of course I have a much urgency that's why I did it. What kind of customer service is this!! My courier number is V10994880.

HI , this is Sikander from Srinagar want request the concerned authority that i had ordererd some things from online shopping, and which was dispatched from the online company with the help of DTDC courier company . The shipment with AWB no Z78522028 reached Srinagar sub DTDC office on 28/11/2012. it is now three days the shipment has not been delivered to me.I had word with them but they didnt pay any response and behaved rudely. plzz help.

DTDC has never showed an on-time performance as far as I am concerned. A courier dispatched on 22nd November 2012 hasn't reached its destination as on 29th November. That IS NOT a courier service coz it's slower than snail mail. To add to the troubles, the customer care desk is setting high standards (pun intended). They do not receive calls from ordinary people like us nor do they reply to our mails.

What's unsettling is that, this is not the first bad experience I've had with DTDC. I've had similar displeasures twice earlier as well. Wonder what made me come to DTDC again :(

Well, as they say - " Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me". So, I guess it's "shame on me" :(

H08196181 consignment from Hyderabad on 23rd November not delivered at Visakhapatnam even after 4 days. Customer care reports delivery boy on leave yesterday. Today not yet delivered even after several requests. Government should setup rules and a OMbudsman for all private courier agencies as Consumer Forum is not always apt resolution .

I got quotation on 31 Oct 2012 from sales.[protected]@dtdc.com this email id for our ecommerce startup and after telephonic communication Mr Abhay Prajapati Sales Officer ,Voice : [protected] , he fixed to meet me on 7th Nov 2012 and still we are waiting and we lost good response for Diwali season as well as for marriage processings also. Hope company manager will try to listen us and provide solution asap.

This is to report the losses I have beared due to worst services provided by Courier Company DTDC because of carelessness and irresponsible staff and wrong information provided to me.

I sent few cosmetics from DTDC branch IGNOU Road Neb sarai, New Delhi to Lucknow on 11/09/2012. The package was sealed packed(all products were sealed in respective boxes) and on top of that I did pack it tywice with an air bubble sheet. The employees at their IGNOU branch checked and packed it further and asked me ONLY TWO QUESTIONS: Whats in the package and How much is it for?
I did inform them there are cosmetics and are worth Rs1800. When I asked them Why they need to know the value of the product, they said "Its for the purpose of insurance". Nothin else was told / informed to me except that it will be delivered on 12th Nov 2012.
However after many follow ups the product was delivered on (Saturday 17th November ,2012).
Firstly, I am not sure why it tool 8 days for a courier company like
DTDC to deliver a packet when they promised that it will be delivered
max by Monday (12th Nov,12) as I have beared all losses for these 8 days.
Secondly, the products were all damaged. The packet was in worst condition and all the cosmectics were all damaged. I have attached the pictures of the products at the time of delivery for your reference. I fail to understand how did the Sealed packed boxes were opened and all the products were spilled over n the package was tampered so badly when the contents were asked when I sent the courier.

I did complaint the same to their branch manager and all they are doing is making the procedure lengthy and not being helpful at all. I was asked to f ill a claim form which I did and now when I called them today they said It wasnt insured by you. But the real story was I was never educated by any of their employees about insuring them. As I said earlier All i was asked was the value of the products and they said they are asking it for the purpose of insurance but I was never told anything else about If i needed to do anything extra.
I am extremely upset about the way they are treating me now as they are putting it all on me. I think as an employee of DTDC if the customer is not aware of their policies and procedures then its their duty to educate the customer.
I have beared losses for all these days by losing this Client and I need a claim for the Value of the products (Rs 1800) , the courier charges (Rs 100) and the losses I have beared (rs 3000) . Please help me with this.

I Have Couriered A Letter On[protected] At 4:30 pm, And the Consignment No: C44036080. Yet the Courier is Not received by the other party.
It is Some what Confidential And More Urgent that's why i preferred DTDC But I get only irresponsible reply from the DTDC Representatives.

I sent a package to bangalore from hyderabad using DTDC priority with tracking code X01597238.
They charged whopping 400 rupees saying that they will deliver by next day. They said normal charge is Rs.100 and will deliver in 2 days.
Shop guy said package will reach next day guaranteed after taking Rs. 400 from me.
Package reached the destination only after 3 days, slower than normal courier speed to bangalore.
In between i tried to call bangalore and hyderabad DTDC customer service several times, their phones are busy are out of service.
I went to DTDC web site and try to complain, it fails after submitting.
I asked for refund with the shop guy, that guy stopped picking up my phone calls.
Whoever sending courier with DTDC be aware that there is no customer service, no working web site.

I am not sure if its company wide policy or specific place policy but undelivered couriers are neither delivered back nor informed of non-delivery! Twice it has happened for AD market Shalimar Bagh, Delhi branch. One Rakhi courier was never delivered to the one addressed to nor returned back to the sender as we did not bother to inquire. Another one was traced to the same place as lying there after 2-3 weeks as undelivered for lack of service at other location! What is least expected that we be informed of non-delivery of courier if not delivered back! Don't know how many untraced couriers have gone missing due to non delivery! If one tries to lodge such complaint on company site, the site shows error!

DTDC Franchise for Swarup Nagar took the order for delivering 50 Kg luggage to Mumbai and thrown at their branch office without any action carelessly. Branch was not aware about the luggage and was not bothered to know also. They were about to throw the luggage outside their office without any intimation to us.
When online tracking was not available even after 5 days of booking, we contacted DTDC franchise, and they replied that they...

AWB/SHIPMENT NO B88310156 FROM BANGALORE TO DELHI.ordered a 3m RESPIRATORY MASK through EMAHENDRA on 9th November. the booking time by DTDC is shown as 12:00 am 10 nov . Today 12th November draws to a close and the shipment has not arrived. moreover there has been NO RESPONSE from DTDC company. NO COSTUMER CARE EXECUTIVE ANSWERS THE PHONE. The shipment has been declared as OUT FOR DELIVERY FROM 11:20 am in the morning of 12th but not received yet. WORST COSTUMER CARE EXPERIENCED SO FAR. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY AS THE COMPANY (EMAHENDRA)CHARGED Rs 200/- for the shipping.Adding to that the sites complaint section is not working properly.ONE CANT SUBMIT HIS/HER COMPLAINT ON THEIR SITE. Not expected from a "leading" delivering company.

We have booked a document P20236488 from Pune to Patiala on Nov 5th. This has not been delivered yet. As per tracking, it is 'In Transit' with last location as dispatched from Ambala on Nov 7th. This is really strange that it has still not been delivered as Ambala Patiala distance is just 50 Km.

We have been trying to get in touch with Pune Baner Branch[protected] Mr. Siddharth). He told us that 1) He does not have any idea 2) Internet is not working from him 3) If the parcel was urgent, then we should have booked Plus service 4) Call head office 5) He cannot take an official complaint. When we kept insisting, he disconnected the Phone. We had discussion with Mr Shrikant two days ago also, he also told that he would inquire with head-office and get back to us by the following morning, but he never called back. This is really frustrating. This is no service commitment and even the staff is not helpful.

Many online companies choose DTDC couriers since they promise prompt delivery. In my case, though my area is serviceable by DTDC and 3 of their branches are available nearby my town, they dont have any courtesy in informing about the parcels(if so, I'm prepared to go and collect them at their office) and reverted them without any responsibility. I lost nearly 1000 Rs. in these three waybills, Z74100142, Z73537339, M80205529.

Assured Next Business Day Delivery assured by DTDC National Blue Courier Service, for which they charge hefty amount, is an way of extortion from customers. My business associate booked an article (AWB No.: V[protected] from Mumbai on Wed, Sep 12, 2012, 12:00 AM. It was urgent and needed in early morning of Saturday, Sep 15, 2012. According to DTDC service level agreement, it was to be delivered on any time of Friday, Sep 14, 2012. There was no holiday between. But it was delivered on Sat, Sep 15, 2012, 3:00 PM. Thus it was of no use. this way these Courier companies assures, extort money and ignores.
