i have send my consignment to 28 march 2011 but till today my consignment is not reached when i inform to franchisee branch uttrahalli they are not taking responsibility they are saying that this is your problem not company problem. My consignment Consignment no B70007335 REF. NO : FDB0061647 . So many time i call to custumer care executive they are not picking phone when they pick phone they put the call in hold then they cut the call . After long time i got one no from Net then i contact with One of the customer care representative she told me her name is prithi and she told me that she will give me complete details about my consignments But till she dint gave any details about my consignment she called me form [protected]. still i am waiting for her calls . Now once again they are not picking phone. Even all over India DTDC all contact no is wrong simply they are cheating to people .. Why the hell DTDC playing with customer …..

I had sent a courier to my hometown with my original driving license in it. The courier guy lost the courier and now they are telling me that I can claim only 100 Rs. as mentioned on the courier receipt. I had sent that courier with utmost trust on DTDC but they did not take good care of it and lost it in transition. I have lost such a valuable document of mine and there's a lot of expenses I have to bear on transportation, since I cannot drive. I have logged a complaint with DTDC # 673168 but no output has come. My courier receipt # P15113455 Courier sent from Pune to Gurgaon. If you need any other information, please revert. I need justice because even if DTDC been careless and still they are showing attitude.

Please note we had sent courier 35Kgs AIR Mode Tirupur to MUMBAI and paid charges Air mode cost , but they sent surface mode and take late delivery, still now dtdc did not refund money , so, please use Indian postal save india

Feedback: Very worst Sir, for delivery timing DTDC

I am a student of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. As our term ended, we all had to pack and send our items home. There were various agencies such as Campus2Home, DTDC etc. which visited our campus. DTDC offered the most attractive rates at Rs. 17.5 per kg with no initial charges. Since DTDC had good presence in my hometown Bombay, I decided to opt for the offer much against my own better judgement when they had delayed delivering my items to Calcutta from Bombay by more than 6 days!!

I neatly packed all my items into a carton and kept it ready for the DTDC agent to come and collect it from my room. When Mr. Deepak, the agent, arrived, he measured the weight and gave me a bill. I showed him the items I had packed in the box which included books, tennis balls, some cosmetics etc. He did not bother listing down the items on the bill. Also, I asked him the if the carton was good enough for delivery purpose and he said it was ok, no additional carton was needed.

4 days later,

1) I receive the items in loose condition (in a big Jumbo bag) as the carton (in which I had packed items) was completely damaged

2) Items missing included -
Dunlop Tennis Balls worth Rs. 330
Cosmetics (like body spray, shampoo etc.) worth Rs. 1000

I immediately lodged a complaint with DTDC. They got back to me with one Ms. Shaista. After 2 days of waiting, they pleasantly informed that they observed no change in the weights of items delivered at different points and consequently, concluded that they would not reimburse anything back. Further, they offered no explanation as to why the carton was broken and items sent to me in loose condition. It was an utterly shocking response from an agency as old & reputed as DTDC. Unfortunately, I did not take photos of the items delivered but if I had posted those, it would have made a fitting expose of DTDC's shoddy services.

Never again will I send my items through DTDC. They merely cheat customers with their low attractive rates. I encourage others to pay a little extra and send it through a more reliable agency than DTDC!!

I sent a parcel through DTDC as a company WheelLife Travel India Pvt.Ltd Bangalore to an individual residing in Puri, Orissa,who had made a purchase from us. The package was sent on the 10th of Feb 2011 and has still not reached the receiver. According to DTDC it is still stuck at the Kolkata check post. On talking to DTDC initially they said it was held up due to some other consignment and so ours will be released in a day or 2. However after a couple of days I was told that a certain form which needed to be sent by the transporting agent for transporting goods overland had not been attached. This story was soon changed and we were told that we would need to pay up Rs. 2000/- ( our bill amount of the goods sent is only Rs 3893/-) to release our goods. We refused and argued has to why we would need to pay up as we have nothing to do with the routing of the goods, hence its the transporting agents duty to ensure all documents need to be in place as they do the routing. We have furnished them with a copy of the invoice while dispatching the goods, with the price (taxes as applicable) and content of the package. As of now every time I call they say our package will be released in a day or 2, its been nearly 2 months now and not once have I received a call from them regarding this matter. For any information thus far we have had to contact them foe the same, never once have they called us.

I had sent a courier with branded garments. Few garments were stolen, repacked and courier was sent.
It was a B'day gift for my brother. I felt very bad and did the same mistake again by buying the same garments and sending thorough the same courier..
I lost the same set again...This time the courier reached with just 1/2 of the weight.

I talked with DTDC but in vain.

I sent a courier through DTDC courier service on 4th March 2011 to Garhmukteshwar. I also varified that if there is a service of DTDC there in Garhmukteshwar. They said that there is a service. Today its 29th March 2011. 26 days since courier was delivered. It has not been received yet to the receiver. This courier was very important and i already lost 27,000 thousand amount due to this.
I did everything that i can do to recover it but they have an irresponsible behavior now.
I want to sue them please suggest me what legal action can i take against them.

On 14th of March, a courier was accepted for despatch by a South Delhi hub of DTDC. I was confident that, because of DTDC's professed huge network, the article (containing very important legal documents with a timeframe attached to its receipt) would be delivered, as I was promised, within four days. The article was addressed to a place called Dighra, not very remote in West Bengal, and not distantly unreachable from the company's airport hub at Kolkata (Dumdum). When the article did not reach the destination in even 5 days, I started frantically visiting the website of DTDC to keep watch on its delivery and safety. From that time, I started sending emails to the Kolkata office which, after repeated reminders, merely informed that the address could not be traced! Then, I started emailing to the HQ of the co., which also thought it proper to ignore the mails. The Kolkata hub informed after 10 days that the address not having been found, the article was being returned to the sender-a fact which was kindly intimated by the HQ after 4 mails! That was a days back. It was finally received back today (the 27th), and that too after much prodding. The envelope bears clear evidence of the fact that, the Kolkata Hub did phone up the addressee and got exact location of the address too. But, the delivery was NOT made. Through your website I would like to caution the unsuspecting prospective customers to be cautious and careful about using DTDC in futue.

sir DTDC couriers MUMBAI was to deliver my parcel ( consignment No.M[protected] to chandrapur. But for last two times they had returned my parcel due to non availablity of service for which i had to suffer a lot. i want to mention here that my previous parcel had came through DTDC. how come it be possible if there is no service in my area, these parcel was deliverd ( consignment No.A[protected]. When i contact their customer care they said that there is no service to chandrapur from Mumbai. It is hard to digest that DTDC has service to my place from one city & do not have service from other. Will chandrapur DTDC office people will not take any courier if the courier is from Mumbai. Do they have any personal enemy.
by the way if i still consider that they dont have service in my place then why did they take a courier, trainsit it to nagpur and then return back? to make money & was our time.

Vide Consignment NO.f05662167 dated 8th March I sent one enveope containing original FD of ICICI Bank from Thane to Banglore.

The so called best company's phone nos are never atteneded by the staff nor do they update on websiite regarding delivery status. I sent mails to their customer care thru their Thane office, in person, but in vain. Will my problem be solved?How can anyone help me in this regard. This is not the first experience. It happened during the month of February too. Fortunately the consignment was delivered after 10 days.

My DTDC consignment no.H81404699 was booked at Kurnool, AP on 26.02.2011 and it was not delivered as on date. The online tracking also clearly showing it was reached to chennai on 01.03.2011 and status also shown material in transit. The same has been complaint at DTDC head office banglore also. But till now my consignment was not received.

i had sent a parcel via DTDC Courier on 12.03.2011 which contained two boxes of blood test strips for accuchek and an empty container, making a total of 3 containers in an envelop. It was addressed to akta medico, ratu road, ranchi. according to the courier company, it was supposed to reach ranchi on the 14th but it failed to happen. i complained in the company complaint center, but no action was taken for 4 days. finally today,18.03.2011, the courier center at ranchi confirmed that they have recieved the courier. but when they went to deliver the courier, my correspondent at the recieving end informed me that the envelop was empty. the cost of my parcel was approximately Rs 2500. firt the delivery was delayed and then my parcel was damaged, which is not expected from a courier company.i therefore request you to kindly look into the matters and take steps for reimbursment of my loss.

I had an urgent parcel to be sent within bangalore. So I used DTDC's pick and drop facility.
They promised the delivery by next day evening for regular service. But, the parcel needed to be sent by afternoon as the receiver had a flight to mumbai in evening.

So they offered me express service for delivery by afternoon. But to utter dismay they didn't delivered the parcel even by 7 P.M. in evening. I asked for full refund but they denied any claims.

Please help me lodge a complaint against them.

I have sent my parcel(Computer system) from bangalore to kanpur on 28-Aug-2010 and waybill no. D03887063 and its duly insured by the DTDC, which was very much delicate,has been delivered late from its due time and its been damaged in such a way that no one can use in future. when complained to the delivery boy, he started fighting with us.

I have been doing the consistant followup with Mr. Mohan raj,Mr. Thyagrajan,Ms. Amudha,Ms. Arati Nandeesh,Mr. Debyendu and now with Ms. Jayanthi, but no one is helping me in this regards infact no one is picking my call as well.

If any government offical is reading this, request your support to claim the amount for my damaged computer system.

On 10/03/2011 i came to know about the courier is not yet supplied and i contacted the DTDC cherplassery office and i got very disappointing reply that "if you have any complaint contact headoffice or go to court" After that i send a mail to DTDC customer care on 10/03/2011 itself. there was no reply. please suggest me what i do?

A consignment containing Watch for my father was booked with consignmet number : Z33177515 by DTDC from Delhi on 18th feb, online status till 1st march was showing in transit and then on complaining it automatically changed to Delivered and they claim to deliever it on 20th Feb.
consignment was never delievered and they don't even reply to email.
I have lost huge money because of this sevice.

I sent a apple ipod which costs me Rs 15000 on 10 jan of consignment no. V[protected]. which is lost by dtdc during transit, as told by them. i wallet was stolen at a railway station and i lost my consignment reciept too. i applied for the claim but they are not agreed to give the claim without original reciept, which is not possible me to show. very hardly i collected the money for ipod and sent it to chennai as gift for my brother. there should be a alterntive solution for my claim. they know very well that i sent the consignment through their service.

DTDC HAS FAILED TO DELIVER A PACKAGE SENT 1 WEEK AGO FROM MYSORE TO THANE . PACKAGE CODE B68079974. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON RESPONSIVE IN GOREGAON, BANGALORE AND THANE. A LOT OF MENTAL ANGUISH AND TRAUMA HAS BEEN CAUSED DUE TO THIS POOR PERFORMANCE OF DTDC. PLEASE REVOKE THEIR LICENSE AND BAN THIS COURIER SERVICE. I HAVE THREATENED THEM WITH DIRE CONSEQUENCES FOR NON DELIVERY AND YET THEY HAVE A LACKADAISICAL ATTITUDE. THEY ARE ALSO ABUSIVE. IF THIS IS A DEMOCRATIC, FREE COUNTRY, THEN JUSTICE HAS TO BE DONE. THE CONSUMERS ARE NOT DOGS OR SLAVES TO BE MIS TREATED LIKE THIS.
