Complaint regarding DTDC . I sent a courier through DTDC courier service on 11/08/2009 to Ramgarh, Jharkhand. On 19th August 2009 packet delivered by DTDC. But from packets some goods are missing.
How pathetic the Services provided by DTDC.

Hello,
Its very sad to inform that you people are never being able to meet your commitment with your customers.Why you forget that ur selling service??
Every time I am using DTDC, parcel never reach on time.
In dis month, I used your service twice 1st was normal & another was DTDC Plus but both of the time the parcel did not reach on time!!!
How you afford to forget that when a person is sending a parcel, his/her emotional attachment is conjoint?
And whenever I am speaking wid the a person responsible, he/she is tranfering the responsibility on other's shoulder & giving me another no to talk with!!
In this way I talked with 4 persons exhausting my phone charges and at last the person called Vikas Patel, the regional head of DTDC Plus in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with the no [protected] is telling me that your money will be refunded!!
What is this??
Again It was there that within 26th july a scratch card will be offered to customers using DTDC, but that is also proving to be fake..
Now tell with so many unethical practices, Undelivered promises, can your company survive??

Courier through DTDC was sent from Navi Mumbai on 31st July'09, it is yet to reach Hyderabad. On 8th Aug'09 someone from DTDC called me to say that I would have to come & collect the courier from DTDC office. DTDC says it does not service in my area which is just 1 km from the DTDC branch outlet.
Even after speaking to the Manager of main branch DTDC, nothing happend. I wrote mails to DTDC Hyderabad Regional office & DTDC Bangalore main office but in vain.

DTDC is yet to hand over my consignment, even though DTDC has been duly paid for the service.

DTDC seems to have no care or concern for their customers. Its better to give opportunities to developing & small Courier & Cargo carriers as it seems the bigger once DONOT BOTHER about a few small customers like ME & YOU.

sir i m sorry to inform u that once again i found a little more jokey... the reason is that yesterday a courier boy named rajiv( mobile no.[protected]) came to my residence without prior intimation to me around 3 or 4 in the afternoon but i was unavailable that time and could not met him. he left his contact no. with my dear one. when i contacted him today in the morning he said 'i cant come once again to ur doorstep and dont compel me. i m not responsible for the same u can complain anywhere" when i asked the reason he told " i cnt come through bicycle" ...
what a funny statement.
i m helpless once again. kindly look the matter seriously because more than one month have already passed in such simple procedure.
now what can i do? kindly let me know...

Entirely fake. The whole system of delivery of DL at the residence of the holder is extremely poor. My DL(cash receipt bearing no. NM -- 21283 dated 07/07/2008) could not reached at my residence, even nobody has approached yet. After a fortnight i contacted the concerned person( Manisha Rani) yesterday(21/07/2009) at Mall Rd. Office, she told it will take atleast another week, so come by next week.This is the real picture of delivery system. Even till now nobody has contacted me on my cell phone.Then what's the relevence of that no.

I have send a courier via DTDC courier Services on dated 28th July 2009. They said this courier will be delivered to the consignee with in max four (4) Days. But till date 12th August 2009 the courier has not been delivered to the consignee. When I am asking about the status of this courier they misbehave with me and said do what ever you could do. This courier has very important documents, which must be delivered on 4th of August 2009. It causes a lot of suffer to me and mentally I am harassed by them. Kindly advice me what to do against them.

my courier no:[protected]..i not yet recived my courier from 27.07.09. from chennai.I make so many phone calls to chennai office, trichy office. but there is no single responce from ur side.then i make phone call to coiambatore office. they give me a mobile no. but that noumber also fully ringing...
some staffs name also i know...pls take immediate action .i am totally upset because of your people's.
pls don't cheat the coustomers.from chennai to mannargudi just 300 km only

Dear Sir,

I am a customer of DTDC through Borkar Enterprises located @ Jogeshwari East, Mumbai. The firm incharge is Mr. Mahesh ( Mobile No. [protected] / Landline no.[protected]. I had sent a Philips 17" CRT Monitor to one of my customers in Hyderabad last year through DTDC which was successfully delivered by your company in time. Thinking that i would get the same kind of quality service, i had sent another consignment for delivery to another customer in Ramchandrapuram town located an hour’s drive or two from Hyderabad, in the same state of AP.

However this time i am not at all happy with your services.

It is a *dtdc plus* service with consignment number D01090502, booked on Saturday, 7th February, 2009. It was supposed to reach the next week around 10th (Tuesday) or 11th (Wednesday) February. The consignment was a Lexmark All-in-one Scan / Copy / Fax / Printer, 2 yrs old valued Rs.2000, @ the time of auctioning it to my customer Mr. V.V.V.Saibaba in Ramchandrapuram. It was packed in a modified Sony Home Theatre Carton. This customer originally planned to buy a new Printer for his children, but due to last minute Budget constraints, buyed my printer.

But it hasn't reached till date.

For reasons / explanation, i called up Mr. Mahesh and he said that the consignment seems to be stuck in some random inspection-octroi checking done @ a tollgate in / near Hyderabad. After a few more follow-ups he referred me to Mr. Anand ( Mobile No. [protected] ) of DTDC Mumbai, who had been to Hyderabad for the same problem. The truth was, that in a group of 47 consignments, 7 were missing OR not picked up by your fellow personnel from Konark Express @ Secunderabad railway station. Out of these 7 consignments, 1 of them was mine.

Your Hyderabad office branch seems to have filed a FIR, after a letter of request was drafted & presented to GRPF @ Secunderabad station. I have that letter Xerox copy bearing a GRPF receipt stamp with a signature & some 1st week of March date, but surprisingly this DTDC drafted letter doesn’t have any reference number & date, which official letters usually have on their letterheads. I doubt & hope this letter is not a fake one, specially drafted for me !!!

But, I don’t have the GRPF FIR Report copy.

I got a envelope containing this letter somewhere on a weekend in 1st week of April, physically from Mr Mahesh, because he himeself had been to his native place for 10 days in 2nd-3rd week of March & another 3-4 days weekend Off in Panvel. He is the sole in-charge of Courier services in his own firm. So a follow-up with him was a little bit difficult. He stated that this kind of problem has happened for the first time in his business & he himself is not sure of the DTDC documental procedure.

Along with this letter, I got a

1. Dot Matrix Printout Draft letter for DTDC Refund, stating that the consignment was successfully delivered but not in time whereas in reality from above, it hasn’t even reached your Hyderabad office, so forget about time commitment & delivery.

2. A Dot Matrix Printout RECIEPT / CREDIT NOTE is also attached alongwith.

It seems that the Draft Letter for DTDC Refund body matter should state the correct reasons, for which either you have to send me the letter / form @ my physical mailing address OR let me know from where I can download it ( from the DTDC website ). I will get Mr. Mahesh’s signature & his firm seal on this letter / form, if required & submit this letter with other documents, directly to DTDC office, instead of getting it done through Mr. Mahesh. Please let me know the process of submission.

I was not sure of the Timeframe in which I am supposed to respond, because I was fedup of the lengthy process from your side.. However most of the time of 3 months have been eaten away from your side, so I would like you to Refund me the service charges amount of Rs. 516 + the price of my printer Rs.2000 ( for which the invoice sent to the customer is attached ) which I have to pay back to my customer. I would also like to know the timeframe for getting this refund & whether it will be by Cash / Cheque.

I am also not sure, whether your Mumbai or Bangalore office will grant me the Refund, so by default, since your Bangalore office is the main Branch, this letter is addressed to it.

This time, if I don’t get any positive response from your side, not only will I ever use any of your services, but also would stop recommending your service to any of my personal & business contacts.

A courier was sent in DTDC courier located at SDA MARKET, DELHI to State bank of India, Sahakarnagar, Bangalore vide shipment number Z94293162 on 27 Jul 09. Even on 10 Aug, after 15 days, the consignment is still not delivered. On enquiry on 10 Aug 09, the Bangalore office said they just despatched it to the bank. The important documents on House appears to be lost in transition.
DTDC is supposed to be a internationally acclaimed courier but the Delhi office was very arrogant and refused to divulge reasons for delay.

I sent a courier through DTDC with the way bill no. B55123178.It was rakhi which was sent.But till now thecourier did not reach the place. It was couriered from Bangalore to Delhi.The online status shows that it reached Delhi the very next day. After that the courier agents were playing passing passing between the two-three courier offices in Gurgaon itself.I dont know what for they ask to mention the contact number.Noone called on the given number informing that the courier has reached.Moreover, after tracing down on net when we went to take the courier, we were told it has been moved to so and so office.This passing game is still being played. When launched a complain they came to a solution saying that the address is not valid, an AIR FORCE address(thats where the courier was sent) is not valid.

I am highly dissatisfied with DTDC courier service. I had sent a courier of gifts for Rakhi to my relatives in Lucknow on 3rd of August. But the parcel has not been delivered as yet. The number is Z96265786. DTDC promises the delivery on next business day. It seems to be highly unreliable courier service. Its help line numbers are not working. Its tracking link was also not operational yesterday. The poor customer is left with no information.br...

consignment no z93405325 dated 25 th july 2009 booked at ludhiana centre of punjab has been lost by the local delivery boys of janak puri centre. this shows how careless are these delivery boys. janak puri franchise not cooperated on its own. it did not felt their responsibility to inform the concerned. i had to part with large amount on account of telephone calls just to fifnd out that the consignment has been lost by the local janak puri franchise of dtdc(c4e/361, janak puri, new delhi 110058). WILL DTDC COMPENSATE AND REIMBURSE THE MATERIAL/MENTAL LOSS?

The parcel was not delivered by the courier service. The parcel has come to the dtdc branch sec -17 gurgaon and after giving the information it has been sent back to sec 14 office. When i approach there they have already send back the parcel to delhi office when i have asked to delhi office after 2 days they have told it has not been recieved in delhi office. I have called several times talked to different officials but they have only provided me just another contact no but no one has given me the proper status of my parcel.

Despite paying for the two-day delivery service to DTDC, my Rakhi was not delivered to destination after 6 days. My tracking no. is Z95930902. DTDC do not care at all about the sentiments of common people and are just a money exploiting company. The tracking information also is showing wrong destination despite of the correct PIN no. I wonder if they will deliver it at all. Strict action should be taken against them. The data shows that this is the 95th complaint against DTDC. I am wondering what the consumer complaint forum is doing about it. I would like to get compensated for this inconvenience that they have created to me and my family.

I request you to take it very seriously, else this site will just become a place to express anger with no results.

I have booked a Courier through DTDC Dtd. 28 - 07 - 09 from Jamshedpur to Gaziabad . Till date it has not reached to the destination and Tacking detail is showingstatus " in transit " . The Jamshedpur Branch office informed that they are not responsible for not delivering the material @ gaziabad becouse they have released the consignment to Gaziabad. Even the person piking the phone had Informed not to disturb as he is busy with other important work. The Phone No. of Gaziabad office has not been mentioned in Tracking detail Column of DTDC site .

I have sent several request letters ot M/S DTDC, but It is really surprising that courier company is not replying any of the mail.

Please let me know where i can log my complain and claim for the compansation.

I had booked one packet containing RAKHI from Dehra Dun office of this company on 04/08/09 under thier DTDCPLUS SCHEME.THE SAID PACKET CONTAINED RAKHI TO BE DILIVERED TO Mr.Amitabh Ojha at His Greater Noida home address.The counter clerk had adviced me to book this packet under this DTDC PLUS scheme to ensure delivery on 05/08/09 i.e. the date of RAKHI FESTIVAL.INSPITE MY FOLLOWUP THEY COULD NOT GET THE DELIVERY DONE TILL THE TIME OF LODGING THIS COMPLAINT.THIS IS THE CASE OF COMITTING FRAUD WITH ME BY THE COMPANY AND I DESIRE TO BE COPENSATED AS UNDER BESIDE AN APOLOGY FROM THE COMPANY FOR HURTING MY SENTIMENTS.

This is to inform you that a DOCKET NO.Z93974814 [RAKHI] was booked by DTDC from ambala on 31/07/09 for NEW DELHI and surprisingly it was not delivered till 05/08/09 RAKSHABANDHAN DAY which shows that their services are very poor.

On 28/07/09 i have sent a parcel from coimbatore to Kolkatta. I have booked in Vysial Street agent. The parcel was fully covered twice one with a gift wrap and a Brown warp on top of it and sealed with Brown Tape in all the sides. The weight of the parcel should be not more than 300Gms. I was suprised the agent did not ask what was inside and he charged only Rs.25/ As far as i know other courier charges around 75 to 100 Rs. He filled the receipt and gave it to me but he dint take my signature. I told him that i did not sign but he said that its not at all necessary but i asked again and also showed him the coloumn in which i need to sign and it says consignor's signature. He said he usually doesnt take them. After asking 3 times i left with suprise and satisfaction that he only charged Rs25. The AWB no is T34744920. Later in the night i checked in web it was showing in transit. But after 3 days when the parcel was delivered neatly packed but when we open it was empty and also there was a crack on side where we open the box. Note the crack was not on top or bottom but in the side. I made a feedback complaint to Dtdc in website and received a reference number FDB0028251. But i dint not receive any receipt of my complaint. The value of the good lost was Rs. 350/- Kindly look into the matter.

1. I booked one parcel on 29th July containing 2 sets of kids dresses(4 items in total) costing Rs 750/- for my niece.
AWB no. Z 95753574 adressing Bidisha Roy located at Midnapore - 7211101. Till date it is not delivered.
DtDc local office at NBCC place, lodhi road is not responding either.

2. the other parcel was booked on 31st July containing one set of kids dresses(2 items there in) costing Rs 400/-
AWB no. was Z95751887 adresses to Mr P.K.Roy Indian Oil office at Noonmati, Guwahati 781020. from same Dtdc branch at Lodhi Rd.

my address is lane no. 10-B, and the courier was given to a person in lane 11-B
my mobile no. was already there on the label.. but i guess the courier guy did not have time to call me..???
i got a call from the person to whom it was given.. saying that he has received it.. and to collect it fro him...
when i received it the package was torn..???
my question here is do not the DTDC person verify the person who is supposed to receive the courier.
if it woud have been any other valuable apart from my study books.. i would never have got it back..
this is supposed to be taken seriously..
the label on the courier reads DELIVER BY HAND ONLY.
here the case is completely different it was not only delivered by hand but only to a wrong address, without calling the mobile no. mentioned on it..?? to completely different person..
