I am unable to trace the courier with documents were which were posted in Hyd (to Chennai) on 02/07/08, with the docket number H[protected]DTDC Couriers Ltd).It is very important & the consequences will be serious.
I am really unsatisfied with the service you provide.Kindly look into this & trace my IMPORTANT documents.

Hi,

I have couriered the small cotton box on 26th March 2007 to Mumbai office from Native place Srikakulam. At that time of booking they have given me the receipt. After few days we have called the destination point and they said that they havent received the courier yet. So immediately I have given the complaint to the DTDC and they have given me the refgerence number :2649. So again I have started the mail communication with the senior and responsible persons and finally they have decicded that courier got lost in Mumbai. This was confirmed by last week. After that I have called to Hyderabad location and they said that they need mail confirmation from Mumbai for this lost of goods to raise the claim form. Mumbai people are not sending the onfirmation mail to Hyderabad office and they are keep throwing the ball into Hyderabad branch. In between I am suffering with the problem.

Dont we have any thing to do and get the amount about loss of my goods. Can you please help me to resolve this issue.

It will not good for you company reputation .So please take this issue as urgent priority

I had ordered a Computer hard disk on internet from Delhi. I live in Pune. The seller immediately shipped the consignment no. z68539809 by DTDC courier on 14/6/08. But I have till date not received the consignment as on 22/6/08. When inquired at company's PUNE PIMPRI branch office, they tell to complaint with the branch who shipped. Nobody cares about the consignment. When checked on courier website www.dtdc.in, it says the consignment was booked on 19/6/08 and status as OUT OF DELIVERY. This is pure cheating with customers, showing wrong Booked date even though the consignment was booked on 14/6/08. This company is CHEATER, CHEATER, CHEATER, CHEATER. They make false promise to ship the consignment with 2 days anywhere in India.
NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THIS COURIER COMPANY.

I am living in Bangalore where I don't get quality mangoes like Malda.My father sent me a parcel of mangoes from Muzaffarpur to Bangalore on 09-Jun-08.It was sent through Air way .Since 10th of the month I started following up for the consignment.The doc Number I was given was K28619430.We were told that it would be delivered in 2 days.When I called this morning(4th day) I was told that it was returned back to Delhi.The number I called was[protected] and the lady in charge asked my whole details and promised me to call back.But I don't have any solution.I am sure these mangoes are going to be rotten.I want DTDC to compensate every loss I have suffered.In other case I will have to move to consumer court.

Dear Sir,
I, M. Pavan Kumar, have booked a consignment for Pune (2800 grams) on Praneel Enterprises, MF-591, Khamla, DTDC, Nagpur on 26/5/2008. My consignment no bearing M34926594. Our consignment has to reach Pune on or before 29/5/2008(Most Urgent). When we enquired at franchise, we were told that if we book the consignment through airmail, the consignment would reach within two days and also I was told that I have to remit extra charges to book via AIRMAIL. I was charged Rs. 300/- towards airfare and assured the delivery of the consignment on 28/5/2008. But the consignment was not even reached on 29/05/2008. I have made lot of calls Nagpur, Pune and Mumbai DTDC offices, but nobody was unable to answer the question “why the delay?” The Customer care people are not in a position to give any answer satisfactorily. Simply we will check it out!. Later the consignment was delivered on 30/05/2008.

I have incurred lot of expenditure on telephone calls to Nagpur, Pune and Mumbai DTDC offices. Although my consignment was not reached within the date, Because of which I have faced lot of mental tension and loss.

I seek clarifications from DTDC in this regard:

1. Why delay in delivering the consignment though it was booked through airmail?
2. Why customer care office, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune people are not in apposition to give any answer? (I have a record of my telephone calls to your offices)
3. I seek return of excess (Airfare) charged.

Being an eBay user I get lots of packages delivered by couriers from the eBay sellers successfully.
Only ONE company -DTDC refuses continuously to bring the packages to my door, although price of delivery is included in eBay charges I must pay.
The DTDC calls me to come and pick the packages up at the office (8 km away!) myself, stating that my area is NOT SERVICED.
When I asked how that is determined where they do...

I did send a POD Z69972688 on 17th Apr 2008 from South City I Office of DTDC to be delivered to Partur/ Jalna/ Maharashtra at monetary consideration of Rs 50
I understand from the intended recipient that he never got it. So today on 10th May 2008 when I tracked down the POD from DTDC Customer Care No.[protected]/441/442 (Shashikant) I came to know that it was never delivered because the place is not in delivery list. My 1st question is WHY THE HELL DID THEY BOOK THE ORDER THEN?
Interestingly, I was told that the courier was sent back to DTDC office of south City I where from it was booked on 28th Apr. I did call that office and checked with the proprietor Yadav [protected] about the same but he has no clue and had left working with DTDC on 23rd Apr itself which DTDC is unaware of since they are still sharing the same bugger's no with me
I need to know the status of my courier rightfully as a customer from DTDC legal counsel or customer care and due explanation for this harrassment.

I had sent a courier using the above mentioned company, DTDC courier Ltd, from their franchisee office in phase 9, Mohali, Punjab, on 19th April, 2008.The package contained books and was adressed to Col. Satpreet Singh, c/o DTDC courier Ltd, Binnaguri, Distt. Jalpaiguri. The person who took the package from me said that it will be delivered on the 7th day. When the package was not delivered on the said date i went to the phase 9 office again and asked for a feedback on the status of the package, after repeated visits and phone calls, they logged a complaint with the customer care and gave me a complaint number, i then personally went to the regional office in sector 35, Chandigarh and checked the status of my complaint where in i was told that it is difficult to trace the package and i will be called back in a day. I did not recieve any call from then and finnaly the courier got delivered on 5th May, 2008. The delay has caused much inconvenience as the books were sent for a purpose which has now not been fulfilled and so have i spent so much cash on petrol and phone calls contacting these people again and again.

Please guide me as to what relief can i get.

I had sent a letter (less than 200 gms in wt, charges were Rs.80/-) from Vashi to Goa on saturday 19-Apr, hoping it would reach on 20-Apr. But being a sunday, this courier service is closed on sundays. So the courier reaches their Panajim office on monday.

Then the reciever gets a call from the Panajim DTDC branch and asks him to come to the office and collect his letter. They supposedely DO NOT home deliver to remote parts...

I was sent a parcel (study material) from CBD belapur DTDC branch on apr0508 to my Bangalore address charging Rs.400.
I have been in touch with these people since the very next day for the parcel was very important to me.
After 2 days i got a reply from DTDC customer service[protected] that this parcel is back to Mumbai due to wrong address, I did not buy this as the address was fully correct and I already have recieved many parcels on this so after I insisted, the representative lodged my complain (35990) on apr1508, today when i followed up with them she told that the parcel in delievered to your sender's address (system says) which was not true. I got in touch with frenchisee in Belapur and here is the truth.

The DTDC guy in CBD Belapur told me that the cover of the parcel got torn while on way to Bangalore (due to irresponcibility of DTDC) that is the reason it is back DTDC belapur.

Now they again want money for sending it back.

I have sevaral concerns..

1- If the cover was torn due to their mishandeling how can they tell me that your address is wrong.
2- Now as the parcel is lying in DTDC CBD belapur how can the customer service tell me that it is delievered to the sender's address that too with exact time.
3- Why should I pay for the fault done by DTDC.

Please guide me

To my surprise I recieved my consignment in the open packet kept in a polythene bag.I was asked to check th contents right here in presence of DTCD emplyees. I was given a declaration form to sign.It had mention of every small thing except my digital camera.
The company employees told me that if the camera is missing I can lodge a complain. I am sure the sender had sent it with the consignment.
Can the company provide me any clue about where the camera went missing?If the need arises I can prodeuce the emails confirming that the camera was ent with the consignment.
I shall be grateful to anybody who can help me get it back.
I am ready to furnish any information neede in this context.

I have sent a courier from Bangalore to Varanasi on 18th March 2008. It was a cheque to be submitted latest by 21st. The DTDC guy said it will be delivered in two days. But today even after 8 days (26th March 2008), the courier has not been delivered. The consignment number was B43529072. When I called their Bangalore helpdesk number, they just took my cell number and said they will call back. Today again I have called and forced them to register a complaint. But even after this, nothing is happening.

These people are charging the entire amount of courier upfront and that's why they are not bothered about the delivery of the consignment. Shame on them. DTDC sucks.

A LETTER WAS DISPATCHED THROUGH DTDC TO INDIAN OIL COR.LTD VARANASI (UP) ON DATED 04.03.2008 FROM NEW DELHI. DOC NO IS- Z66984250. TILL DATE THIS LETTER COULD NOT REACH TO OUR ADRESS. I TRIED TO CALL DTDC OFFICE AT VARANASI WHOSE LOCAL TELEPHONE NO IS -3251713 & 3298054. BUT I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT DTDC OFFICE IS NOT RESPONDING. I TRIED CONTINOUSLY FOR 2 DAYS. THEY ARE NOT RECEIVING THE CALL. ONE TIME THEY SWITCHED OFF THEIR PHONE SET. THIS IS VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT SERVICE AT VARANASI IS VERY BAD. OFFICIAL SITTING AT VARANASI OFFICE IS VERY CARE LESS. PLEASE TAKE NECESSARY ACTION

I had sent a cheque through DTDC Courier & Cargo Limited on 20.02.2008 more than one lakh rupees to Sr. Branch Manager, L.I.C. Shahpura (Bhilwara), Rajasthan vide theirReceipt No. Z 64410457and another cheque on 27.02.08 for Rs. 2,386 vide receipt No Z 64655633 dated 27.02.08.

I enquired receipt of cheques from L.I.C. Shahpura on 1st March 08, I was surprised to learn that both the cheques are not delivered to them. I reported this matter to DTDC Courier & Cargo Limited, Sector - 18, Gurgaon (Ph No.[protected]/ Mob. [protected]). They were of the view that their services are not for Shahpura (Bhilwara). I asked why you have taken such delivery where you have no point of delivery. They assured me to return back the said packets containing cheques within 1-2 days, but till date I have not received my cheques.

I shall appreciate for an urgent action to get my cheques returned to me.

Here is the gist of the compliant email i sent across to DTDC, for which i have recieved no response yet.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have been a very satisfied customer of DTDC and have been using your services regularly and have been recommending your services both in a official and personal capacity.

However, my experience today dealing with your customer service personnel ( I called at[protected],[protected],[protected] makes me rethink if I can confidently utilize DTDC for future shipments.

1. First off, the person who attended my call ( after 15 attempts, no less), abruptly hung up even before providing me a chance to look up the consignment number she was seeking. I had already given her the shipment # and was in the process of getting the consignment number when this happened. I am sure DTDC can do better than this in handling customer queries and in responding courteously to your customers.
2. What is the point in having multiple contact numbers, if there is no one to pick up the call/ respond to one’s queries ?

I was/am awaiting an important official shipment. Online DTDC tracking says it is in chennai Apex and I was wondering if I can directly pick it up , as I was not sure of the ETA of the shipment to my home in Nanganallur.

I hope you take this in the right spirit and address your shortcomings in this critical area of front end customer service.

DTDC is claiming himself as India's number one courier company on their site ( www.dtdc.com) , which will attract normal customers to do the business with them. They are also marketing their online tracking information tool, which will help customer to find out their consignment status over the web. But ground reality are too bitter, they are worst than worst from any low profile courier company.

I have booked one courier...

My consignment no: N91885469 was snd on 9th by me from siligudi dtdc.But DTDC didi not inform me regarding the problems that they found with my consignment ,like it being detected of electronic thing insidewhich was a musical greeting card,because of which the consignment remained held up first in dtdc kolkotha branch.Dtdc silligudi branch has been totally irresponsive there after regarding the issue and neither did they inform me the problem that occured.
kindly lodge complaint against DTDC,despite being a reputed agency not able to do justice to their costumer like me.

I have ordered an Item (Apple ipod) online through the
Manorama E-mart (http://emart.manoramaonline.com). On 11/01/2008 they sent
the item from Mumbai through DTDC courier service. Tracking the same on
DTDC site with the consignment number
M33753288 shows that it reached Cochin on 13th. Usually it will be shipped
to my place in one day. But even on 15th the status was showing item is in
Cochin itself. Then i called the Cochin DTDC office and they informed
after a bundle of calls that it seems missing. They told an excuse that
its missing and they dont have records of the shipment since there was no
power at that time. On 19th they confirmed the same (first they were not
ready to tell this when i called several times only they told me this) and
told that, "we can't do anything on this, if you want further processings
to be done contact the location where it is sent from". Since its an
online purchase i am not able to get details like where it has been sent,
who sent like that. I already informed the online store this thing but
they are not responding, since i already placed the full payment (I have
registred a complaint on this with No. 24970) . They (DTDC Cochin branch)
are not even responding to my queries on this. By a thorogh checking on
the records of shipment definetly they will be able to find the item, but
they are not even doing that. Now on my calls they are telling that some
senior persons are on leave and so I need to wait untill they came back.
These responses pointing me that item lost only due to their mistakes.
Please help me in the same.
Consequences : The item i orderd by sending them a DD of Rs.3445.
