I have a complaint regarding my refund from flight booking portal Easemytrip.com
I booked a flight from Easemytrip.com on 20th June and by mistake I booked a flight for different sector than what I was supposed to. So I called Easemytrip.com to cancel the booking for which I paid 74840 and they said that I will get the refund amount of 62044 after deducting charges as following:
Airline Charges: 2500/- (per passanger)
Easemytrip Convinience fees: 699/- (per passanger)
Total charges for 4 passangers: (2500+699) * 4 = 12796/-
I waited for 4 days and I called them on 24th June to know the status and they told me that it is still in process and they still hasn't initiated the refund and they told me I will get an update within 24 hours but I got nothing so I called them again the next day and they said the same thing and said that their senior will call within the next 24 hours and I still got nothing and same thing happened for another two days I called them 4 times and I didn't get any response so I mailed them for my concern and then I got a call on 28th June from Mr Kartik Singh (senior supervisor from Easemytrip) and this time they said the charges will be 14000 (approx per passanger) I argued with them and then He said they will charge 12800 per passanger. They are charging 38404 more than what they promised.
So i request the authorities look into this matter and help me
My credit card company which I used is also going to charge me for not paying my bills which I request Easemytrip to pay. Because it's their fault.
My work is totally stopped becuse they still haven't processed the refund
I request the authorities to please help me to get a resolution on this
