Eastern Railways — Enquiry and display board at dumdum jn

Dumdum, the most important jn station of sealdah section has no enquiry counter. The office of the station manager is not visible. Most of the trains are running very late ( sorry all trins ). But there is no proper display board . There are five platforms but the display board have the capacity of four ( though the last one installed within one year. There is no time table in front of cashcounter of subway-2. Not any time table in the platform no 1, 2, 3. But in howrah section all are available. There is no announcement for late coming of train . Being a bonafide passenger we have the right to get this small things from the service provider.

I am a daily passanger of sealdah-dankuni section of eastern railway.. I never found the local train of 9-02 hrs ( at dumdum jn ) to dankuni in right time. ( i am a regular passenger from 19 nov 2014 ). Many people of sealdah section have to catch the different local trains from bally. But not a single day the train reaches its destination ( bally halt ) in schedule time. For this we have to spend a long time sitting idle in the platform. ( as some local trains are at interval of one hrs . This is also the same story of return journey from bally halt to dum dum . It is daily phenomenon to spend 10 to 30 minutes at signal before dumdum jn .
