[Resolved]  Ebay.in — Default in delivery & refund

Dear team, I had ordered one Laptop adaptor through Ebay website on 14th October vide order no. [protected]for Rs.750. I had then filed for a refund on 6th November vide claim Id- 736218 as i hadn't received a product till then .Neither the seller nor the courier ( Blue dart) people had any clue about the shipment & EBay customer care was not reachable . I didn't receive any refund & then I called the customer care on 12th November to follow up for the refund. The representative who answered the call said that I will receive the funds in my account by 14th November, but i didn't hear about the refund. I again called the customer care today, i.e. on 17th November, where the representative told me that they are investigating with the courier company about the delivery status. I was shocked to hear about it as last week I was assured that I will get my refund & today they were talking about locating the product for delivery. I then told the representative that I am no longer interested in the product & I need my refund. I also asked him to transfer me to his senior, as he was unable to give any resolution to my query. The representative put me on hold for more than 25 minutes & then disconnected the line. I again called the Ebay customer care & i got to speak to the representative after about 8 minutes (Which is a normal wait time for every call at Ebay customer care). I again asked him to transfer to his senior as he had no update/resolution. He again put me on hold for more than 20 mins & one person came introducing himself as Deepak Kumar. He said that he would call me after 24 hours & let me know about the claim status. I just told him that I will give him 20 minutes of time to revert on the claim status & that too through email or an sms, as I don't trust any verbal confirmations. I am writing this mail as I haven't heard about the claim till the time of sending this email. I would request a strict action along with some penalties, as ecommerce is growing in India & if the companies like Ebay will do such defaults, then it will be very difficult to use the this medium of commerce.
