Complain against Ebay India Pvt. Ltd.: Ref: Item Id:[protected], Order_Id:[protected].[protected], Paisa pay Payment ID: [protected], Claim Id: 552728, Seller bill No.2352 Dt. 30-Jun-2014 Mukth Computer Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Vijaywada I placed order for a brand New, Unused, undamaged Dell Inspiron 15 3537 Cor i3 (4th Gen) 1.7 Ghz, 500 GB, 4GB with 1 year warranty on 26-June-2014 and paid Rs.28173/- online to Ebay with above referred details. I received an dead non working notebook on 01-July-2014 and informed Ebay and seller immediately. Seller didn't replied my communication hence I have raised claim for faulty item on Ebay. Ebay Asked me to get a DOA letter. I got a letter from local computer dealer that notebook supplied by Mukth Computer Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Is dead. Ebay rejected my claim stating that I have to get DOA Letter from Authorized Service Center of Dell. I Called Dell India Customer care and requested for letter which they refused. I visited Nearest Dell Authorized service center with faulty notebook and requested for DOA letter, and Dell India Service Center refused to provide may any letter stating that they don't have any such procedure to issue DOA letter. After followup with seller, finally Dell Service Engineer visited my place and tried to repair notebook by replacement of mother board and some other part, but failed to power on the notebook. He also informed me that the screen of the notebook is damaged. He provided me Complain Report stating that this notebook is dead and damaged. I forwarded this report to Ebay, and after many email and telephonic followup customer care refused to accept my claim stating I need to get DOA letter from Dell India, which Dell India is refusing to provide. When I contacted Seller for replacement/refund, he refused to take any action stating that he has not received payment from Ebay, hence will not be able to provide any support. I again wrote letter to The Customer Grievance Cell of Ebay on 23rd Aug 2014 and got a call from Ebay on 30th Aug 2014 that they have received letter and will reply soon. I am sorry to inform all readers that I have not received any written reply for my complains by email, Phone and Letter till date. Ebay is rejecting my claim stating I need to get DOA letter from Dell. Dell is not issuing any such letter and sent quotation of Rs.11, 000/- for repair of a brand new notebook. Seller is not providing any support stating he has not received payment from Ebay. Thus A customer is running pillar to post to get service due to purchasing Brand New notebook online from Ebay after making full payment of Rs.28173/- I once again request Ebay India, Del India and Mukth Computer to resolve this issue, failing to which I will be compelled to approach Consumer Forrum for resolution.
