[Resolved] Ebay.in — For delivering a dead mobile phone which is not even functioning | |||||
I bought a product- apple i phone 4s 16 gb from ebay on 8th september 2015 at 10, 057 rupees. Item number[protected] and paisapay id : [protected] I got the product on 19th september 2015. When i opened the box i got very disappointed as it has several scratches and irremovable marks on the screen as well as on the backside of the phone.This is only about the outer look. When i tried starting the phone their was another disappointment waiting for me- the phone that was delivered to me is almost like a dead and damaged phone. It takes too long to start and on the top of that it hangs on the language selection screen and does not functions for a second beyond that screen. I wonder as ebay has such a big name in market and i guess ebay was one of the first few companies who started the ecommerce business in india still they do not even have any quality check process before delivering the faulty products to the customers. I called customer care and requesting a refund and the customer care executive told me and i had also read on the website while purchasing that this product is covered under ebay guarantee(So i can get refund if not satisfaied with product). As of today i did not have any update from ebay that what went wrong since i opened a request for return? Neither ebay nor the seller is interested in contacting me. I sent a number of mails called at least every alternate day but did not get any resolutions. I also talked to the senior persons of customer care executives including suman and huzafa .Everyone assured me that i will be definitely getting a call from the concerned department but no response yet it is approximately 2 months now. They told me to upload the images of damaged product i did that too but still i did not get any updates for the refund or replacement of the product.
