Hi. It has been such a long time since i first filed this complaint. Roughly 5 months already. But yet to obtain justice.in fact, haven't received any satisfactory response from team ebay yet. And then, here i am forced to rewrite the whole story from the very beginning to make my point very clear why i am feeling cheated. I bought an alienware laptop from ebay in the month of november, 2016. Still, the laptop was faulty and different model from what i ordered. Thusly, i placed a return request which was accepted. The ebay grievance officer informed me that pickup service isn't available at my location, so i will bear to ship back the product myself. Courier charges, i was promised to be reimbursed in form of ebay coupons. I, being regular customer at ebay, didn't find any problem with the resolution provided and shipped back the faulty product myself as was asked to exercise. Everything went fine, the amount of product was refunded and later shipping charges also reimbursed as ebay coupons. There were two coupons issued one worth inr 6700 (Approximately) and another inr 3000. Both coupons would expire by march 31st, 2017. Subsequently, in the month of february, 2017 i guess, i ordered a product from ebay and used one of the coupons and paid the remaining amount using net banking. I received the product after a few days. Later, while browsing ebay i came to recognize that my ebay account has been suspended!! Without any prior notice and without any ostensible reason! I was totally shocked. Also, i still had inr 3000 coupon linked to my ebay account which i couldn't use now for very obvious reasons. I tried several times to contact ebay customer service to let me know why my account has been suspended and what can be done to revoke my account. But ebay customer care considered the reason to be among "company's top secret" which couldn't be brought out at any cost. Later, the seller who belongs to my hometown and is an acquaintance contacted me that he hasn't received any amount so far!! And asked me to return his product. I distinctly told him that this trade was done through ebay, let ebay resolve this issue. According to the seller, his account has also been suspended. He has called ebay support several times asking them to at least pay him the amount of product which he sold to me. Every time he was assured, but was never rendered any kind of resolution. So, after 5 months, the situation is somewhat like this: Seller sold me an item. I paid using coupon (My shipping reimbursement) plus net banking. Seller hasn't received any amount yet (Yes even after 5 months). Seller has been asking me to return to the product as he isn't paid by ebay yet. Both of ours ebay accounts are suspended. I still had inr 3000 coupon linked to my ebay account. Sller has sold the item. I have paid for that. Seller doesn't possess his item. I don't possess my money anymore. Seller doesn't have the amount i paid. So, now, enough of this mental torture. I myself don't want to be part of ebay now. I just want my reimbursement coupon to be paid to me and the amount of the product to be paid to the seller. Kindly settle this once and for all.
