[Resolved] Ebay.in — Neither replacement nor refund being made by ebay | |||||
I placed the order of Small EPABX / Intercom System 308 (Item No.[protected] with ebay India’s seller: securitysystemmart on July 4, 2015 with PaisaPay ID [protected]. The item was delivered on July 11, 2015. However, smoke started coming out of EPABX within 1 hour of installation. I contacted seller on July 18 by email, who advised me to return the item for replacement, which I promptly returned by courier. The seller acknowledged the receipt of Item vide his email dated July 25 and promised that I will get replacement after July 29, 2015. After July 29, I have repeatedly requested the seller to ship the item, but he is not responding to my mails. After repeated reminders, seller informed me on 14 September that manufacturer has delayed delivery. That item will be delivered in one week. However, till date I have not received the item. Now seller is deliberately ignoring my calls made and if ever seller answer calls, he always make false claims that item will be delivered in one day or two days. The seller and ebay have caused too much harassement and financial loss to me. Though ebay claim of consumer protection, but in my case they are responding that case is closed for ebay.
