[Resolved]  eBay — Replacement/Refund for defective battery supplied through ebay

This is in reference to Item ID[protected], NEW GENUINE ORIGINAL IMPORT OEM LAPTOP BATTERY LENOVO 3000 Y410 LAPTOP BATTERY worth Rupees 2599/- purchased from www.ebay.in on 13th March 2014.

has shipped defective laptop battery which is not getting charged the item holds one year warranty.
The invoice number is 3769.
I have requested ebay to arrange for collecting the item and get it replaced from the seller considering it is as their responsibility but they have denied to recollect the item and are asking me to ship the item to the seller.
If I have already paid for the item and trusted ebay for providing me with the correct product then is it not the responsibility of the company to take all the necessary actions to provide the customers with the error free service. During telephonic conversation with the customer care service of ebay, they told me that they don't arrange for recollection of defective products under some cases but on asking them about what are those conditions, they said its their internal matter and can't be conveyed to the customers which shows thatthey are not transparent their customers.
I request that necessary actions may kindly be taken against ebay india for such denial and irresponsible attitude towards their customers and for the replacement/refund of the defective product supplied to me.
