Amazon has Ecom express as their delivery partner in Ooty, Tamil Nadu.
I ordered a product on amazon and I got a message from ecom express ooty branch on 6th January saying that delivery was failed as address is not proper, but previous orders have been delivered to the same address before. However i did not receive any call from the courier person. I tried calling ecom express customer care but could not get in touch with them as it said customer care people was busy on other calls. This was the case for 3 days. Yesterday, i again received a message from the courier saying 3rd attempt of delivery failed because of address but this time I was provided with agents mobile number and OTP so I called and enquired which they said they don't have enough people to deliver the item and tomorrow sure they will deliver the item. And today morning 7th January i recieved a message saying my order is returning to seller.
They said it will be delivered by 24 hours.
My product has been lying in ooty courier hub for 3 days and they say it will be delivered by 24 hours which they never seemed to worry about the word they gave and processed with further action giving false updates to amazon saying address is not proper and weather is not good.
And this is not the first time they are doing this, for one of my previous order they have asked to collect the order from their warehouse saying they don't have enough men to deliver the item.
And as a result of this I am not able to order anything on Amazon
Such a bad service.
