Hi,
I ordered products worth Rs.6500 from Ishalife.com on, which they had shipped via Ecom Express on September 15th, 2021 and the order was shipped from WALEYAR on September 17th, 2021 as per the tracking information in Ecom Express. The shipment has reached the target DC - Technopark campus, Trivandrum on 20th September. From there, it has been countless lies, and false updates from Ecom Express. There was no use raising a complaint with their customer care center as well. PFB the sequence of events.
1.Status updated on September 20th as 'Shipment un-delivered Shipment attempted - wrong address' without even contacting me. It was the same address they delivered products from the same Shop in July 2021.
2. I tried contacting the Ecom Express delivery contact with the pin number provided, and it said invalid pin. I contacted the Ecom Express Customer service by call and raised a complaint. They said the item will be delivered in 24-48 hours
3. No delivery attempt status on September 21st.
4. No delivery attempt status on September 22nd. I called customer service again, and they again said 24-48 hours. I asked them to delivery on September 23rd itself and they assured so
5.On September 23rd, I got 'Out for delivery' SMS notification. After multiple attempts, the delivery contact picked up the call, and said they might deliver if the office time is not over. At 16:15, the status is updated in Ecom website as 'Shipment un-delivered Shipment attempted - Residence/Office closed'.
6.On September 24th again, I got 'Out for delivery' SMS notification. I got a call from Ecom number around 16:15 pm, and there was no response or audio from the other side. At 16:23 pm, they updated the status as 'Shipment un-delivered Consignee requested for future delivery' without even talking to me. Seems to me that they just made a call to me for record purpose, remained silent and updated the status. I sent another mail to Ecom customer service support on September 24th. There has been no response so far.
7. On September 25th, September 26th there was no delivery attempt.
8. On Septmeber 27th, I see two status updates in the system. Status update on September 25th 12:33 hours as 'Shipment un-delivered Delivery Attempt To Be Made', September 27th as 01:19 hours as Shipment RTO lock.
Its been already 7 days my shipment is delayed. And since the items are going to be returned and sent back again, it would take another 7 days minimum. The order contained items which I meant for gifting purpose. Ecom express should duly compensate me for the time delay, time I spent in vain following up and the mental pain.
