I have raised a ticket for surrendering my policy with Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance after two years of locking period was completed. After submitting all the forms and bank details. in of the follow up call of the policy surrender status i came to know that they have entered the wrong IFSC code. However, from last two year they have been debiting the premium on time from bank account. After submitting bank documents when i called again on Feb 14 to know the status a agent mentioned that the surrender value has been credit on Feb 8th and when i confirmed the bank account it was wrong bank account. On Feb 15 call again for status update and the agent mentioned that the i will be getting a call (not the money) within 5 business day. I called on 8th day since i did not received any calls from them. They refuse to give any answer on when can i receive the money and the agents is not transferring the call to manager as well.
After 1 hour agent told me the manager will call in half an hour and i have still not received any update or call from them it's been 3 days now. Was this information helpful? |
