[Resolved]  Edrafter.in — pathetic customer service, no support from company staff

Hello concern, this is in regards with marriage registration service opted from edrafter.in, based in new delhi (C/o mr rajnish gupta and ms. Priya gupta). My marriage held on 28/04/2017 and since then i am staying in pune with my wife. Since i am a resident of haryana and my wife is from delhi, so i choose edrafter online service for marriage registration because its been 2 years and we are finally going to delhi for few days. We hardly gets time from our busy schedule that's why we took online option. I spoke to mr jawahar singh (M:[protected]) initially and paid rs.1500 through instamojo payment gateway on 28th sept, ref. Edr015. So communication started on email, as per documents checklist shared by edrafter team, i had submitted each and every document on 1st oct along with affidavit copy as requested on email.

Now case handed over to faizan[protected], and as per email, i had clearly mentioned that arrange appointment for 15th as i am in delhi for 4-5 days but dates were never confirmed on email by anyone. Faizan and jawahar called me and given me 16th oct, i agreed on same and shifted my wife's appointment for 15th as we are in delhi for baby shower and she was on maternity leaves.

Later, faizan again called me and said 16th is also not possible because vendor had received my documents late. But as per email, i had sent the documents on time as requested by edrafter team. It was delayed due to lack of coordination between edrafter and vendor which they are not accepting.

Faizan also told me that if i need urgent appointment for 16th, i have to pay another rs.2500 as tatkal fees else we will give you 21st oct appointment in dwarka or 18th oct appointment in rajouri garden but they "may" ask for bills for marriage venue. He was not even sure of this. I told him that it is difficult to arrange bills in short notice because it's been 2 years. He still arranged the appointment and send the appointment letter on email. I had no option left to take 18th oct date as i have to leave from delhi to pune as tickets were already booked for 18th only. Now, on 18th oct, me, my wife (Expecting with 7th month) and 2 witnesses reached rajouri garden from faridabad, we made to sit for 2 hrs to fill a 4 pager form and later they rejected the case because i had no bills for marriage venue. I called edrafter, they blatantly told me we cant help it now. If edrafter would have communicated this on time, i would have never opted rajouri garden registrar office.

Now, they are not accepting all these, despite everything shared on email. They are not even sure of rescheduling my next appointment, when asked for refund, they refused and showing me company policies.

I know they can't compensate our time and physical and mental exertion because they have no respect for customers but at least they should refund the amount and learn a lesson for other customers.

Please suggest next steps.

FIRST GO AND CHECK WITH RAJOURI GARDEN SUB REGISTRAR OFFICE RATHER PUTTING SUCH BASELESS COMMENTS HERE..I AND MY FAMILY FACED IT SO KEEP YOUR STUPID REPLIES WITH YOU ONLY. PEOPLE LIKE YOU HAVE NO WORK IN LIFE JUST TO PUT LEG IN EVERY OTHER ISSUES... I HAVE ALL PROOFS WITH COMPANY'S EMAIL. THEY HAVE ALREADY ADMITTED THAT REGISTRAR OFFICE MAY ASK FOR WEDDING VENUE BILLS.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND CONSUMER FORUM TO REVIEW BASELESS REPLIES OF SUCH PEOPLE WHO PUT THEIR NOSE WITHOUT KNOWING THE ACTUAL SITUATION.

What a stupid complaint it is! I highly urge to Consumer forum to at-least review the complaint consumers are raising and then only approve it to publish!

Person who has raised this complaint has himself mentioned that "Sub-Registrar has reject the application due to non-availability of his wedding bill", I don't see any role of company under same and can only see the stupidity of the person to raise it for company called edrafter rather then raising complaint for concern Sub-Registrar that how should they can ask for Wedding Bill if the same is not mentioned in Documents required list as provided by Delhi Government for Marriage registration in Delhi.
They cannot ask for Wedding Registration bill, it is a completely irrelevant Document. I myself has registered my marriage in Delhi and there was no such thing asked and if in any case if Sub-Registrar has asked for the same then you need to fight over there itself that how you can ask such irrelevant Document and you need to tell them to show proof that where in guidelines it has been mentioned that this Document is require for publication!

But to my surprise you're here and blaming some private company who do not hold any role in your rejection. Buddy, if you would have fight with same energy in Sub-Registrar office then your work must have done. Surprised as well as laughing on such complaint raised!

Totally agree with Nili32 comment, I as well do not see any role of company if the Government Department has asked for any additional document and feel that the complaint should not be raised here.

Being a regular customer of edrafter have never faced any issue and have never heard negative feedback about this company. They are trustworthy and reliable in their work.

Just saw this complaint raised and tried to put efforts while logged in to spread some good words!

Not everyone is as Lucky as you Mr. Surjaay. I dont know whether you guys are being paid for such "positive" feedback or maybe you are somewhere linked with their stakeholders or May be you have genuinely never faced any issue with the company, that is why you are saying this but case here is different. I really appreciate you are spreading good words for the company but I am also not here to spoil the image of the company, I just wanted my work done on time which was committed by Edrafter otherwise what is the point of taking the online service from them if appointments are not raised as per customer's convenience who are relocated outside Delhi.

I faced it so I raised it. I have been given the half and delayed information by their team and fake commitment from their team member and on this, I just asked for commitment for NEXT SCHEDULE whenever I am in Delhi which Faizan denied and when I asked for refund, it was denied as well then I had to raise the complaint here.
