[Resolved]  Employee's Providents Fund Organisation [EPFO] — Regarding rejection of PF Advance Claim under OUTBREAK OF PANDEMIC (COVID-19)

Dear Sir,
My online applications submitted for PF advance claim under OUTBREAK OF PANDEMIC (COVID-19) were rejected two times with totally baseless reasons. Please see following sequence of my applications submitted and their rejections.
(1) First application no. Claim ID MRNOI[protected]

Rejected with following reasons.
a) SERVICE HISTORY IS NOT PROPERLY UPDATED
b) NOT ELIGIBLE- INSUFFICIENT BALANCE
c) ALREADY AVAILED ADVANCE FOR PERMISSIBLE TIMES

(2) Filed Grievance Reg. no. SRNOI/E/2022/03855

Final Decision of Grievance officer (Sh. Shashank Dinkar): “With reference to your grievance it is requested to kindly resubmit online claim form for onward action.”

(3) Resubmission of online claim after Grievance office advise, Claim ID MRNOI[protected]

Again rejected with following reasons.

a) SERVICE HISTORY IS NOT UPDATED PROPERLY
b) CLAIM ALREADY SETTLED
c) MEMBER NAME NOT PRINTED ON CANCELLED CHEQUE

Sir, with respect to rejection reasons as mentioned above following are my submissions.
a) “SERVICE HISTORY IS NOT PROPERLY UPDATED” I am working with same organization without any break in service and service history is well updated, therefore the rejection reason is baseless.
b) “NOT ELIGIBLE- INSUFFICIENT BALANCE” I have sufficient balance, therefore the rejection reason is baseless.
c) “ALREADY AVAILED ADVANCE FOR PERMISSIBLE TIMES” . Earlier PF settlement was done in Dec 2019 for different purpose but my present claim is under OUTBREAK OF PANDEMIC (COVID-19), therefore the rejection reason is invalid.
d) “CLAIM ALREADY SETTLED” Claim not settled yet.
e) “MEMBER NAME NOT PRINTED ON CANCELLED CHEQUE” . In fact, I never attached any CANCELLED CHEQUE but copy of My Bank Passbook was attached where my name is clearly visible. This is a big negligence in document verification.

Sir, during the pandemic time, affected most of people mentally and financially and I am thankful to government initiative to take PF advance claim under OUTBREAK OF PANDEMIC (COVID-19) to overcome the crisis up to some extent but such rejections are really disappointing. It is my humble request kindly approve my PF advance claim under OUTBREAK OF PANDEMIC (COVID-19) as early as possible, my family is in financial trouble.
