Evok — Misinformation by EVOK MEGA HOMESTORE, Gurgaon | |||
I wanted to purchase a complete bedroom + living room set for my new place. I had my heart set on EVOK AMAZON King Bed set and was confirmed on the spot by Mr. Biju (+[protected] that it is made of "Acacia" wood. For those new in the furniture world "Acacia" is more durable than Sheesham, Mangowood etc. and it is also more costly. Before purchasing I did some research and came to this website. Further, I called up 3 different EVOK MEGA HOMESTORE and ALL of them confirmed that AMAZON is made of Sheesham (and NOT Acacia). I confronted Mr. Biju & his supervisor with information. They stuck to their original statement and the supervisor began to misbehave. So, coupled with the service issues on this forum & the tendency of the sales personnel to hoodwink and con people, I dropped the idea of purchasing from EVOK.
