I was purchased new Battery of exide model( IT 500-3U7-11619) on Jan 2008

This Battery Was purchased from tara tech akola Throu Suprime Electronices Ranpise Nagar AKola But in Aug 2009 battery Was not working properly dealer inspected the battery and send to exide services station at nagpur then 11/09/2009 the battery return from service center. Report of service center was battery found ok and returned and and that time we demand to dealer our original bill and warrenty card to dealer but card and bill was miss placed by the dealer now our battery is not working properly again the dealer refused to send the battery to service station due to miss placed a warrenty card and bill by dealer. So kindly replace the battery and take some necessary action.

I had received customer vehicle new Battery of Exide model( 2D[protected]C[protected]V-L2 60Ah 600A)(EN) on 03/Nov/2012

This Battery Was fitted by Exide co. from Renault OEM at Chennai But Nov 2012 battery Was not working properly we had inspected the battery and send to exide services station at THE BAT SHOP (ISHAAN ENTERPRISE) Opp, Naranpura Post office, Naranpura-13, Ahmedabad, then 12/12/2012 the battery return from service center. Report of service center battery want to charge & the charge will paid to us for charging test.and that time we had submitted all demanded to dealer our original bill and warranty details to dealer but by EXIDE dealer could not give proper response to us & they are told us without payment we will not provide service. The person again the dealer refused to send the battery to our workshop. We get confirm first that The Battery second no. cell is failed So why should the EXIDE dealer not provide service & Why should we paid the charging amount? Kindly replace the battery and take some necessary action against this.

    Faulty UPS

    The owner of this store gave me a 5 KVA UPS and told me that it was working well. After I started working with my computers, the UPS started failing from the very first day. I called him every day and he didnt even showup once. Never buy anything from him. His name is Vedaprakash, and known as Prakash. I dont think he has a dealership of Exide batteries, though there is "Exide" showing up in the name....

    Sir, i have purchased exide battery,which was given warranty period of 30-months.
    within a year the battery was not properly working.we contacted our retail store
    from where we purchased.but he said i will repair & give u back but after his
    repair again the battery was not working so at last it is in warranty period he
    cheated us & now we requested him to change it but he refused so now also
    it is in warranty period.

      Dear Manager,
      Due to some unavoidable reason the warranty card of the battery got lost and as per the the exide dealer Mr Jay Nishad of Sunrise Batteries ([protected]) & Exide supervisor Mr Bhushan ( [protected]) confirmed that this is under warrantry but not ready to give me replacement as I don't have warranty card. Mr Bhushan was suppose to check with his senior staff and was suppose to help me out to get this battery replaced but he didn't update on me this and came to knwo from Mr Jay that Exide is not ready to give the battery replaced.
      Battery make is DIN44 and serial no is 92635 and was purchased in 2009 request you to kindly look into this issue and help me to get the battery replaced.
      This battery is of our company car and we use Exide batteries in all our car, today we are buying Exide battery for our Honda Civic
      Awaiting for your positive action.

      Attached is the letter for your reference which we had given to the dealer as per his requirement, still the battery is with Sunrise Batteries dealer, so rewuest you to kindly consider this request and get my battery replaced.

      Will be expecting your confirmation mail towards getting this battery replaced which is under 5 years warranty and this is the second year.

      Exide battery model DIN44 -- Warranty claim not honoured

      I had purchased one car battery model DIN44 ( (Sr. No. 2E2-15163 ) from M/s Aster India Battery House, Gurgaon (Ph.[protected] who are authorised dealers of Exide batteries -- vide Invoice No. AIBH/5863 dated 27.7.2012.

      It had warranty of 36 months. The dealer told me that warranty card was not readily available BUT the invoice No. is adequate as it bears my name & serial No. of the battery sold to me.
      But when I went for replacement under warranty within 36 months, he refused & gave me rebate of Rs 1000/- rupees only for taking back the old battery. I had no alternative, as I had to run my car.

      I got replacement battery of same model today ( 9.7.2015).

      ACCORDING TO WARRANTY COMMITMENT I SHOULD GET 30% DISCOUNT FOR REPLACEMENT IF DONE WITHIN 34-36 MONTHS.

      The dealer did not honour warranty commitment.


      Will the management of M/s Exide Batteries will consider the case & honour their commitment of warranty given to their customers.

      INCIDENTLY EXIDE (U.K.) GIVES LIFE LONG WARRANTY on CAR BATTERIES -- BUT EXIDE ( INDIA ) FOR THE SAME MODEL SHOULD at least HONOUR their WARRANTY FOR THE DECLARED MONTHS IN THEIR SALES DOCUMENT.

        There is Ahuja Electronics which deals in Exide inverter batteries. He is master in convincing will sell Stan Queen battery which is a cheaper variant of Exide for price equal to Exide's top model. Once you purchase it he is very poor and rude in providing service for its products. Be aware of such dealers.

        Exide — poor service

        i have purchased a battery type plus 1350 of EXIDE on 15/03/08 having a warranty period of 18 months;but on 22-05-09 when its warranty period was remaining it started giving problem and even stopped working. I complained to auth. dealer; but he never turned up to check the battery and kept on saying that it will start working automaticaly; i called him many times but he never turned upon;on 10 november he turned to us and said that your battery is dead and it has to be replaced with new one. This is a poor service he provided; as our battery should have been replaced free as it was in gaurteed period when it started giving problem.

I WANT TO SAY THAT DUE TO CERTAIN REASONS MY BATTERY WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY SO I CONTACTED A DEALER IN BHUBANESWAR FOR THE REPLACEMENT AND HE CONFIRMED FOR THE SAME WITHOUT ANY CHARGES. SO WE HANDED OVER THE OLDER BATTERY TO THE DEALER i.e. GUGNANI TYRE AGENCIES, RASULGARH, BHUBANESWAR AND HE GAVE US A STANDBY.
          BUT KNOW, AS THE ABOVE SAID BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED BY THE COMPANY AND THE NEWER ONE IS LYING WITH THE DEALER. THE DEALER INFORMED US THAT THE BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED KINDLY TAKE IT. WHEN WE APPROACHED THEY ARE DEMANDING US RS.3500/- FOR THE REPLACEMENT , WHEREAS IT WAS CONFIRMED EARLIER THAT REPLACEMENT WILL NOT COST A SINGLE PENNY.

            Ive purchased a exide battery in march-2009. In 14 months the backup is reduced to only 2-2.5 hrs that too not on full load. Please resolve.

              I Narinder Chawla had purchased this Exide inverter battery on 14/5/2009 from Hind Motors Stores 169/2,Netaji Subhash Chander Marg (Rai Market)Ambala Cantt-133001.My Bill no is 13137 Amount of Rs 8600.My Battery Description is 1500 Plus No 4C9-110612.My Battery was not working properly even after taking full charging. When I consult to my dealer he used uncivilized language with me not ready to replace my battery by knowing that my battery is in warranty.I had lock a complaint on 2/10/2009 to this dealer and he give me a complain number which is 69. My Battery warranty will Expire on 14/11/2010.He give me a warranty of 18 Months according ro Exide Battery Warranty Card My Warranty Card number is 46324721.. He also pass a comment that "Do what you have to do"?I am not going to change your Battery.Please help in this condition.

                I have purchased EXIDE INVA TUBULAR BATTERY IT 500 to Chawla Tyre,31 Raja Garden,New Delhi-15,ON[protected] . Its just 23 months, my battery backup reduced to only 1 hr. I have complained to dealer from where i purchased it but, there is no responce from them. i have tired to call them to solve my problem but they never try to solve my problem, they refer me to direct Exide,22-04-10 then i call direct to Exide Company there i have register my complaint and the no .is 5937 there Mr.Dinyansh & Mr.Bhang i brief him my case they send his Representative but still my problem is not solve nobody exchange or repair my Battery now this days delhi very hot and when light is cut we face huge big problem so please do needful for us.i m waiting for your reply.

                  Hi,

                  Nowadays Exide refuses to give warranty on their product. Once you call them for a battery problem they will send their site engineer and take report. But finally they will reject your case. They will tell you there is problem in your UPS that is why battery got problem. Then you never claim warranty for that battery.

                  Why i am telling you that because i am a computer dealer of Erode district. I already purchased 4 tubular battery and one had problem they send their engineer and finally reject the case. And after two years i supplied one 100 AH battery to my customer within 9 months the battery got backup problem the same story happened. They finally reject case by intently saying my customer UPS having charging problem. But the same ups charging and working fine with other brand of battery.

                  I enquired my friends and other computer supplier about Exide warranty. They were telling the same story. So people planning to buy Exide batteries for your UPS plz beware about this problem. Try to find other brand of standard battery company which will give you promised warranty.

                  You can only see the real face of the Exide when you claim warranty on your battery.

                      I purchased Exide inverter battery (IT 500-IC9-20258c) on 14th APL 2009 from “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES” Betiahata Gorakhpur. “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES” got it from S.S.TRADERS Betiahata Gorakhpur the authorized dealer of EXIDE.

                      I am sorry to inform you that it could not perform even in winter season. I informed MS “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES from time to time but without any success.

                      So it was finally taken by MS “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES on 15th March 2010 without any replacement & got serviced by S.S.Traders, the authorized dealer of EXIDE & given to me on 15th April 2010.
                      After one day it again failed so on the advice of MS “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES" I changed the inverter & purchased IGBT 850 VA inverter at a cost of Rs 5000/-
                      But again the world famous EXIDE TUBLAR is not functioning well.

                      It means that through out summer we will have to suffer only because we blindly believed in EXIDE.

                      Is there any 'higer exide official'capable enough to look after the matter as on earliest so that our suffering is removed as well as any foul play can be detected?

                        I've purchased EXIDE EL 100+ `12v 100 AH Vat.12.5% under Sl.No.10048/326 on 9.8.2006 under 60 months warranty scheme from SL.GL.Auto Batteries, Authorised LExide Sales & Service Dealers, H.O.No.236, 1st Main Road, Chamarajpet, Bangalore 560 018, Ph: 26706009 under their Invoice No.860 who are also having Branch Office at No.104, 2nd Main Road, Sudhamnagar, Lalbagh Road Cross,Bangalore 560 027, having Ph.Nos.22221443 represented by its Proprietor Sri Praveen. The said battery proved defective in getting recharged as also there was accumulated corosion on both the terminals as far back as 24th September 2009. Though the corrosion was cleaned and billed for the same for Rs.200/-, I was given that one of the poles has gone weak and hence there is defective charging. Since then the firm as well as the proprietor (on his mob.phone No.[protected]) is being contacted and requested for its rectification. But except uttering lies all the time, so far, I am deprived of its use though I have paid Rs.8500/- on 9.8.2006. I seek justice in getting a replacement for immediate utility, as invariably Bangalore is undergoing powercuts almost everyday at different times for 4 hours a day.

                          I have purchase Excide Invared Tabular Battery IR+500 (Red) from your dealer M/s Shiv Shankar Electronics, shop no. 779 Section 17, Ulhasnagar-421 003. on 25.4.08. His mobil no. [protected], Land line no. 2701824. My Battery details Batch no. 1 C8, Serial no. 33732.
                          I have lodged my complain about 10 days back. My complain no. WM H O 00000208. After two days Mr Vishwanathsingh Swami contact me on telephone that on last Thursday our van will collect the battery from your dealer. But they have not collected the battery from dealer.

                          The above battery is lying with your dealer Shiv Shankar Electronics, Ulhasnagar-421 003. I request you to please collect the above battery to your service station, as battery has back up problem.

                          My mother in law who is residing with us age about 82 year old, She is suffering from Heart problems,orthodex problems is bad need of battery.

                          I APPEAL YOU, TO PLEASE HELP OLD PATIENT WHO IS BAD NEED OF BATTERY, PLEASE COLLECT THE ABOVE BATTERY FROM ABOVE DEALER.

                            This is to inform all the top shots for Exide batteries regarding the WORST customer service given by Exide dealer for Kalka.

                            I have purchased a new battery from Bogra sales,Old Kalka bus stand,Kalka aprx 8-9 months back.

                            From the first month of its purchase the said battery started giving trouble as it was not charging enough to produce desired electricity output in case of power cut.

                            After repeatedly complains about the battery backup from past 8 months there is no support given by the dealer from where the inverter battery was purchased.

                            The Backup is not at all as per the capacity of the battery which was purchased.

                            I have done several follow-ups and every time we get one or other excuse.


                            One of the common excuse given by dealer is that all the customers who owns Exide batteries are facing backup issues in this area because of regular power cuts which is really not true because in winters we do not have power cuts and the backup is still worst.

                            Never ever the dealer recommended for any service check by Exide engineer to figure out the exact problem.

                            Why not the Company like Exide care for the credibility of the company by giving dealer ship to people who do not have the sense to retain the customers.

                            However, just to inform you that in winter there were no power cuts and still the battery backup was only for 30-45 mints with two 20 watts CFL and now we can add one fan as well because of which the backup has also gone more worst and the original capacity for the battery is 1500 watts.

                            As per the original conversation while buying the battery the backup should be for 6 hrs continuous with 1 fan and 1 CFL for 20 Watts.

                            Because of this bad experience I have suggested my relatives/friends to go for Amron batteries instead of Exide in the past few months.

                              I am an unfortunate person to buy an Exide battery (12 MF 5 LB with S.No:[protected] for my Honda Aviator vehicle N: AP29AD 3078 on[protected]. You people claim that the batteries are maintenance free and infact I am repenting myself for buying this brand. The battery is getting discharged every week and already 4or 5 times were recharged. The dealer K.B. Battery Centre, Habsiguda, Hyderabad, is not replacing it saying that 5lb batteries are out of stock. You know that these scooters are difficult to drive with kick start in heavy traffic and are great inconvenience. I have spent Rs 1050 which is a small amount but your reputation is at stake because of dealer. I request you to instruct the above dealer for immediate replacement of the battery.

                              I have bought 2 batteries 7 AH 12 whose no. are SN - 4Y 765384 & SN - 4Y 765385 from Mr. Babloo, M/s. Kanchan Agencies, Near Tikona Chowki, Kanchan Tiraha, Farrukhabad (U.P.) - 209 625 Phone No. :[protected] & Mobile No. [protected] by book no. 084 Serial No. 017 dated :- 20.02.2009 of your Company in which the batteries are not working properly. We have sent these batteries for replacement on 08.06.2009 since then we have been told that the replacement has not came yet. I would like to know how much time does it take to get the battery replaced it is 4 months already. I don't think this is the policy for harrasing the customers of your's. Kindly look into the matter as it bringing bad name to your company's goodwill. I am hereby attaching the digital copy of scanned bill issued by the agency.

                              I Kuldeep Singh age 78, had purchased Exide battery Inva Tubular, sno. 010005 3VA from Star Auto parts and batteries .opposite welcom palace, malhar cinema road, ludhiana-141001, on 28-8-09, inv no.3353 for rs 10400.00. The battery went bad in warrantee period. the battery has been returned to the dealer and he says that it would take 25 days for replacement. battery was returned 1 week back .we requested the dealer to give stand by battery which he refused. you are requested to arrange a stand by battery till you replace the original.

                              Vehicle is fine, but, the EXIDE maintenance free battery goes within or over 1 year. EXIDE 4L battery which Aviator uses is hell to you. It is not Maintenance Free… It is a big Headache since you need to change your Battery.

                              One more highlight is Battery casing they use which doesnot allow 5L battery to fit in (5L battery is being used in Activa and Dio). You need to take care you have to buy only 4L battery for Aviator which is not available in Amaron.
                              I brought Amaron BTX5L battery on recomendation from the service center guys since, they told Activa or Dio battery would fit. But, to my agony after purchasing 5L battery, they took the vehicle to replace the battery only to discover that it only fits with 4L battery which is not available in Amaron.
                              Service guy asked me to get Exide 4L battery only. I got very annoyed and angry. Why should I buy Exide… It is the worst battery I found. Even, I had to replace this EXIDE battery for my car too. EXIDE BATTERY IS LIKE SUICIDE BATTERY… it will kill itself very soon and creates a big problem to the owner.
                              I stongly recommend as being a customer to Honda…. not to go for EXIDE battery which is obviously a big headache for the customers.

                              Now, I need to change the Battery casing with fabricated plate holder to fit my BTX5L Amaron battery into my Aviator. Also one suggestion to Amaron battery to manufacture 4L pro-bike batteries since, I found this to be a good battery and none of the aviator owners should face the problems which myself and other aviator owners faced till now.

                              Customer satisfaction should be every company’s motto.

                                I had purchased an Exide battery (EM35LMF) for my car on 24.10.2009 from M/s Dhabai in Jaipur. The battery S. No. is 1 H9-010197. The battery is not working properly. The battery is under repalcement warranty for 18 months.

                                I have also lodged a complain at Exide Mobile no.[protected].

                                Kindly replace the battery.

                                  We had bought an inverter battery (inva red 500+, Serial no 01766/3Q09) from your dealer amar motors, Nerul, Navi mumbai vide bill N0/3720.The decesion to pay much higher prices for Exide were based on assumption of service back up and credibility of Brand.
                                  Battery had been giving problem and finally stoppeed working when it was picked up by the dealer for sending back to co about 20 days back.
                                  "Ever since daily calls and even personal visist yieled no result as dealer says Exide Co. has not retured the battery yet" "No replcement battery could be given by him as said co does not provide this.
                                  Despite regular power cuts and ongoing final exams of my two kids" we are living with this.

                                    I have purchased SONIC POWER BOX INVERTER BATTERY (PBX1500) ULTRA LOW MAINTENANCE ON 20 APRIL 2009 WITH SU-KAM INVERTER.Its just 11 months, my battery backup reduced to only 4hr. NOW AFTER every 4 hours inverter showing overload then we off the inverter for 5mitns then again start but this is not permanent solloution if if purchased branded battery then why we face any problem. i request you plz send some one to check this and replaced with new one.

                                    I am a reseller, I have sold an Exide battery Model Inva Queen 500+ on 07.04.2009 to Mr. Vibek Sen Sharma Mob.[protected]/[protected]of Kewta, Bandel, Hooghly. He had complained one month ago that the inverter shows low bat. within 10 to 15 munites by using 2 or 3 points. He uses Hyundai 600VA inverter which I have also supplied at the same time . At present cheking inverter by me and company's technician it is shown the inverter indicates low battery within 45 munites if only on 2 points by inverter. I have watched it when inverter indicates low bat. then battery shows only 10 volts. Plz help me at this matter. I hope you will guide me.
