The Battery is not working properly and we are often facing problems. We purchased the Battery for home use from a dealer in Faridabad (Rohilla Electrical Works, Shop No. SC/67, NIT, Faridabad-121001, Haryana; Mobile: [protected]) last year on 28 June 2016, for Rs. 9, 000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand Only). We made a request on Exide helpline number [protected] on 01 July 2017. Nobody came till 07 July 2017.
I called the Exide helpline number again on 07 July to highlight the matter and follow up on my service request. The person who attended my call today (07 July 2017) gave me a number in Jaipur[protected] and told me that the problem will be solved after I call up this number. When I called up the number in Jaipur, the person who picked up gave me another number ([protected]: Name-Mukesh). I called up Mukesh and he asked me to forward the complaint number and he promised that somebody will attend the complaint by today evening. Somebody finally came on 08 July 2017.
He shared that the battery needs to be taken to the service centre for 7 days. When we requested him to give a replacement battery so that the house doesn't remain in darkness when regular electricity supply is not available, he refused to make any arrangement. He also refused to give a receipt in case he takes away the Battery for resolution of the problem. However, no help came forward.
The problem remains unresolved. It is indeed shocking that a reputed Company like Exide gives such poor quality service to its customers. Was this information helpful? |
