I booked a flight ticket from Expedia. I didn't receive confirmation of successful transaction though my credit card was debited. Thereafter, I didn't receive any sms/mail regarding the booking. Next day, there was a mail saying DO NOT REPLY, with flight ticket attached. By the next day, I have already booked another ticket. I kept on calling & requesting them for cancellation. First day a lady said don't worry, I am raising this issue. Then every day I had to wait for more than 30 mins to reach their customer care number & then they kept me on hold for 10-15 mins but didn't solve the issue. On the day of travel, they agreed that it was their technical problem that sms was not send but refused to support & deducted the cancellation charges. They also charge more booking & cancellation charges as compared to other website.

I do had a horrible experience today with Expedia. Booked ticket for my wife and infant from Hyderbad to Jammu and the website did separate tickets in the same airline. I chose same flight at higher price so that my famly need not to check-in luggage at two places. But to my surprise, website sent me two pnr numbers which means need to check-in luggage at two places. even Customer care person almost took 60 minutes and still didn't resolve my issue and saying it's not our problem. Resolve with airline otherwise get the refund after cancellation charges (almost 6000+ out of 10000 rupees ticket).
Hopeless site to trouble passengers and create hassles in every way.
