Fiitjee — Inordinate delay in disbursement of Reward

This is in reference to the reward programme announced by FIITJEE in the year 2019 for outstanding performance in the Mains and Advance Exam of JEE 2019. I wish to bring to your notice that my son Aranya Chakraborty had been a student of your 4 year classroom program at FIITJEE, Nirman Vihar from[protected]. His performance in JEE 2019 was AIR 209 in Mains and AIR 751 in Advance. According to your communication to us he was eligible for a reward of Rs.50000 per year for his performance till he completed his graduation. It is with deep regret and sorrow that I inform you that my son is yet to receive the reward for his final year which he completed in 2023. Even the rewards for his second and third year were given after prolonged follow ups for months on end and repeated visits to the FIITJEE East Delhi Centre at Nirman Vihar. This time also we have been in regular contact with Mr. Abhishek, the Centre Coordinator of East Delhi Branch since April 2023. But sadly, every time we call him, we get only varied excuses for the delay, ranging from the cheques being gone for signature to the cheques getting outdated. It is indeed very unprofessional and shameful on the part of an institution of FIITJEE’s stature that a reward announcement made by the institution is dishonored and is executed only after repeated follow ups by the students.
I request you to kindly take up the matter on a priority basis and ensure that the students who have worked tirelessly to bring name and fame to your institute get their due recognition without any further delay.

In reference to my above communication, dated. 6 March 2024 I am sorry to inform you that despite the above communication and notification to Fiitjee Customer Support, I am yet to receive any communication from them, let alone resolution of the above complaint. I have constantly been in touch with Fiitjee, Nirman Vihar Coordinator, Mr. Abhishek for the last six months and the only response I have got from him so far has been varied and absurd excuses for this inordinate delay. I am sure that like us many other aggrieved parents are still waiting for Fiitjee to keep their word and recognize their child's achievement. In the future, I would request the administrators at Fiitjee to think twice before making any such public announcements that they do not intend to honor.

Extremely disappointed to inform you that despite repeated communications and complaints neither there has been any communication from FIITJEE nor has the issue been resolved yet.
