Hi team, i have ordered an water purifier on flipkart last month which was delivered to me on 26th june, i was asked to wait for the installation till 22nd july and they haven’t send anybody to get the work done, unfortunately they send a mail as “we came to know that you were being charged for installation provide us the bill we will send a gift card of flipkart for the amount you spent”, i don’t understand how they had send the mail, a customer has no right to open the package until a techinician from flipkart open it, even if a customer opens and if he finds product is damaged flipkart will not accept it as it was opened by customer, so i kept that aside and waited for them, now i called them as i received this mail how can a customer opens what if it is damaged, i can’t take risk so i would like to return it and flipkart denied in accepting return of product as return policy was expired, as i was asked to wait by flipkart and now they claim it as my fault. First time it was assigned to hindware and they cancelled the installation process on july 11 which was beyond the expiry of the return date of product, i have contacted flipkart regarding this and they stated as that there won’t be any expiry as the defect is from our side not to worry and now they denying this,
