[Resolved]  Flipkart — hometown engineered wood king bed with storage (finish color - white)-od[protected]

Am writing this post with pain that how such a reputed organisation like flipkart, biggest ecommerce giant in india treat their customer. With such huge promised and fake assurance of support. It was such a pathetic display of service and support form flipkart that i never even faced with any naive ecommerce startup.

I had bought a king size bed (Order # od[protected] on big billion sale which was suppose to be delivered by 30th oct but got delivered on 3rd oct and was installed by hometown team on 6th oct. Product was defective such that there was 4 inches of gap between the top head and base which was not shown in promotional pictures displayed on flipkart.

I immediately registered a return request on 7th oct as return option was not enabled on my account. Customer care assured me that issue will be resolved in max 48 hours. I waited patiently but nothing happened and i called them back again on 9th and they had no clue what happened. Then they updated the product delivery status still says delivery pending and till the time merchant update the delivery status as 'delivered' they cannot initiate a return. Then they lodged a complaint and provided me with complaint # in[protected] and asked me to wait for another 72 hours and mailed me that issue has been put on priority and will be resolve max by 12th oct incident: in[protected]

But nothing happened again and i receive a call at the end of the day stating same what has been told before. They again provided eta of 48 hours and told me on mail to resolve the issue by 14th oct, max by 6.30 pm (Incident: in[protected], and here i was writing the post as nothing happened.

While i was writing the post, at 6:42 i received another mail (Incident: in[protected] stating "we apologise for taking longer than expected to resolve your issue. We request you to provide us time till 17 oct, 3:30 pm to get back to you."th

After 17th oct, dates keep moving forward until i posted on their twitter page again on 22nd oct. Then following up with them on 24th, 25th and 26 oct daily at least for 2-3 hours just to waste my precious time to get the same lame excuse to allow them with more time. Even they provided the final pickup date as 25th oct but nobody showed up and the dates keep getting extended (1st nov, 2nd nov, 4th nov or 7th nov). Am mentioning all incident id's provided on mail:

This is insane and a never ending loop. Such irresponsible behavior from flipkart is unimaginable and unacceptable. I have spent whopping amount and feeling cheated now. Now i have serious questions on flipkart credibility and i will not going to suggest anyone to buy from flipkart. I have even attached the defected item sample pics.

For once i can understand there can be a problem but such a repetitive pathetic service and excuses are intolerable. If anyone can tell who is responsible for the pain i suffered in all such process, my wasted time to be in line waiting for your customer service and followups, the amount i wasted on such product and the trust i put on your organization. As a reputed ecommerce company you must be aware what is the importance of lost time.

I request you to please help me with this as am continually paying interest for this product and it is in installed condition in my master bed, could get scratch as it a usable area unless it can be taken back asap. Also due to defect even if i use it could posses threat and harm anyone with that big gap between top head and base.

Kindly help me getting that returned and getting my amount back with interest that i paid and endless hour of torture i received while chasing them like an # and getting false assurance. Also have1 audio file recording as an incident proof of fake assurance from flipkart.

Flipkart team called me on 6th and 7th November stating seller is not responding back and it is been very long and we cannot keep our customers in pain. Give us 24 hours and we will be initiating your refund for sure as it cannot be updated right away due to some technical issue facing right now.

I allowd them another 24. Hours and they returned with updated status of my return as rejected and instead blamed me that they provided alternate solution and i denied so they are not refunding my amount.

All calls are on recorded line and never ever flipkart provided with an alternative neither did i approve any such thing.

Am in utter pain kindly help me. Feeling looted.
