Ordered redmi note 4 through flipkart, which got delivered on monday, 25th september 2017.
Got complaints from few people saying that my voice is not audible. Checked the same with my colleagues locally.
Came to know that there is some problem with mic.
First attempt: called redmi support for a solution for this problem. They suggested to check mic yourself by typing *#*#6484#*#* and take the mic test.
Found that if the phone is really close to mouth, it is passing, or else, it is failing.
Second attempt: called flipkart support, explained the same issue. Got a reply from them saying a technician visit will be arranged for phone inspection, if found defective, phone will be replaced with new one. Technician visited, did something with the phone and handed over to check. Checked again multiple times, people from the other side are saying the same thing, not audible, voice not clear. Technician called his friend, he said no problem with the phone. I said i have problem. He said i will update the same thing to flipkart.
His update on the sheet: customer is not happy with mic.
Third attempt: called flipkart support, talked to them about the technician visit. They said that technician has updated that phone is okay and cannot be replaced.
My response: you trust technician more than customer...? After talking with a few superior officials, they said one more technician will visit to inspect again.
Fourth attempt: technician visited and reset the phone; asked me to check. Checked for four times, out of which two times it worked fine, two times it was not audible. Technician also accepted the same, including the failure of the mic test which was done as in the first attempt.
Fifth attempt: called flipkart support, talked to them about the technician visit. They told me that technician has given positive feedback for the phone. It is not defective. So replacement is not possible.
He was okay with our complaints as long as he was here.
Once he stepped out of our place, he updated the other way around.
Technicians: how are the technicians qualified to say a non-working phone as working with zero technical knowledge? Get the educational details of the technicians, they look like any other laymen.
Flipkart support is arranging for third technician visit. Oh really???
Since monday through friday, non-productive days in a work place, no peace of mind with a new phone, frustration has reached to its peaks.. Enough is enough..
Solution: i want replacement for my phone.
Or take my phone back.. I will return it.. Refund my amount..
