Flora India — No Delivery and No Empathy

I had placed an order for Diwali package to be sent to a relative in India. There was an option for it to be deliereved on the diwali day itsefl 4th November 2021. I recoved an email from Flora India at night saying they are unable to deliver today. Ok, i thought. It happens. I requested to have it delievered the next day and they agreed.
Then again, on friday they emailed saying that they cannot deliver on the day also and that the delivery will now be on Monday or they can refund me.

I emailed back saying how disappointing it is. The package was for my uncle whose wife passed away and it was just something to make his first diwali alone, at least a little loved. As you can imagine, it takes time and effort to go through the ordering process and commit to someone that they will receive something on the day, and then in the end telling them sorry for getting your hopes up high.

I requested Flora India team to ask their manager to contact me but I was merely ignored.
Yes they had refunded but it is not fair that they did not deliver. I could have easily used another service. One day delivery delay is OK but 4 days is not acceptable especially when there is a delivery date option.
