Foreign Post Office Mumbai — extremely bad service

I ordered a product from aliexpress, paid rs.1650 appx online. The delivery was free & previously whenever i ordered anything i got it delivered free by the post, only that the product was always less than rs.500. This time when the package came via post, the postman said that i will have to pay rs.1550 & only then can i take the package. I had to pay rs.1550. This is completely unacceptable. So if your package is worth less then they will not charge you or you might not receive the package altogether. But in case if it's expensive, they loot you. I ended up paying double of what the product is worth.
