[Resolved]  Fortis Healthcare — Bad experience

Sorry to say I had very bad experience with Fortis Nagarbhavi last week and it's a kind of cheat to us.

I had a pre-approval on February 7th from Vidal health for ACL reconstruction surgery on 10th February and admission on 9th February evening with private room.

I reached hospital at 5:45 pm on 9th February and admission procedure completed at 6:15 pm but they allocated room at 8:55 pm that to triple sharing room not the private room, with the promise of private room post surgery. They made us to wait three hours, which delayed all my pre surgery procedure and finally I slept at 1:30am with surgery scheduled at 6:30am. The problem with room was it didn't had phone nor nursing station call button nor bucket nor hot water.

Post surgery, they made us to wait two and half hours to allocate private room, this was anxious movement for the family members as the surgery was successful and patient was not shifted to ward. As, a patient I need to fight with hospital staff in observation room to shift me to ward ( there was no room available, so hospital people was killing time, which I understood by their conversation).

They alloted me a private room in other block, hospital maintenance was very unprofessional... surgery patient is in ward but they are installing the TV in the room ( with drilling sound). Worst scenario was i was feeling uneasiness so I tried calling nursing station with nursing bell, no one attended for 90 minutes...when I complained they shifted to other room but shifting patient was very pathetic.

It didn't ended there, the claim was approved at 1:21 pm on 11th February, but hospital has raised a query on discount at 1:37 pm but this was not informed to patient, i tried calling hospital billing team at 3:00 pm and 3:10 pm but no response, finally I was discharged at 7:45 pm.
