Fraud in Fortis Hospital, Noida

My father was admitted in fortis hospital sector 62 Noida from 16th March to 17th March and UHID 11370114 And we have shared feedback that 3 extra doctor visiting charges has been taken in the bill even though doctors do not visit to see the patient. And extra 10000 HDU charges was taken by the hospital

And I have visited the hospital for the same concerns 3 times. And We had call with Doctor Administrator 2-3 times from Fotis...

Excess charges on my billing

This in reference to my hospitalization and treatment in Fortis from 4th May '24 till 21st may'24 (UHID[protected]
During my treatment I was on strict NPO till my discharge, but Rs 800 for meal was charged every day. I had sent mails to "feedback & reach us ids" but no acknowledgment so far.
It's been 6 months now . there is no revert or acknowledgment from your side. I called all the mentioned numbers...

UHID 11540337. 1.Although my husband had asked the day before about any necessary requirements and appointment, they did not inform about the requirements for a KFT report b. 2 hours fasting before the test. no deposit refund received

My mother Revati Kinnarkar had CABG done at Fortis Mulund and was discharged on 8th April 2024. We had cashless facility so had to pay Rs.50000 as security deposit.

After 2 months now we are yet to receive refund although our claim is long settled by insurance company! All I received was Rs. 9999.59. When will we receive the refund???

I also tried calling on support who said they will arrange for callback but...

Non discharge of patient

Refusal to attend patient's attendant and allotment of beds by shalimar bagh fortis

The behaviour of the staff is very rude. They dont even have the manner to talk to old people. Further, there is no network available in the hospital due to which many problems are faced, and the staff do not carr about guiding the new patients.
They have the attitude problem
Also everyone is jyat sitting to grab the money
As compared to the fortis (shalimaar bagh)
i would rate 1* for Gurugram fortis
Ask your staff to treat good way woth patients and attendant.
We are the one who is paying for them not they
If we are visiting your hospital, paying for something, we need proper information
We are not here to listen the assistant’s crap
mentioning specifically the coordinator of chemo and radiation doctors.

    My father 83yrs old was admitted in ICU and had severe breathing difficulty. He was given the necessary treatment after 7hrs delayed literally which is an act of negligence and irresponsibility.
    I even gave written complaint but the medical superintendent has denied any revert saying it's internal matter.

    It's was really a mental harrasment and torture for my father and my entire family.

      Hello Fortis Team,

      UHID[protected]

      I have admitted my mother (Laxmi sharma) today around 10Am for gall bladder removal surgery. And we have selected the single pvt room.

      Since then your staff saying your surgery will start in an hour and after 4 hours we have approached customer desk and they told us your surgery slot is 4:30 Pm.

      Since that time my patient is waiting in HDU and staff didn't provide the room yet. And the attender doens't have a seat.

      When we checked with bed manager they said we don't have vacant room yet and then they said please meet our IPD HEAD Dinesh kumar. Then we approached Dinesh kumar and told him everything. Then he said we don't have vacant room and all. He is so rude and talked in very bad manner.

      Is that's how fortis work with patient?
      Is this my mistake i have choose Fortis?

      Is this only about money and nothing to do with patient care..

      So disappointed with fortis. Please do something on this on urgent basis.

          I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the behaviour coordinator Ms Nishi (Mob - [protected]) of Dr Ajay Bhalla Fortis hospital Noida. She misbehaved and tortured deliberately by making us wait for 3 hrs considering obligation just to add the name of a patient for walk in appointment. Also she applied delaying tact for the billing of OPD. She is annoying, rough and rude lady placed in a public place which is not considered good for such a reputed Doctor and hospital.

          Hence, it is suggested that she may be counselled periodically for her survival amongst the public.

          Also, an administrative action is expected against her for future compliance.

          Action taken against her may also be intimated to me for great concerns.

          An early action at your end is solicited.

            The cushion chair in the common central hall here on the ground floor becomes a bed at night.Here, even if you speak to the supervisor, to the guard or otherwise to the night manager for Fortis hospital Shalimar Bagh he too does not find a solution to the problem. The attendant of this cause a lot of trouble and misbehave with the attendance and due to which the administration does not get any help.It is a humble request from my side that where the attendant living with the patient should get full support of his rights.

              Hi All,
              I Murlidhar Agarwal admitted on 5th August 2023 and discharged on 10th August 2023 Bill no 111923IPCR005887 total bill amounting to Rs 228135/-.
              I was suffering from infections in my kidney due to 15 MM stones in my kidney and was admitted to Fortis-Kalyan Hospital on 5th August 2023 and discharged on 10th August 2023 and my total bill was Rs 228135/-.
              Fortis Kalyan tried to overcharge me for everything and not left out anything. They are not at all bother about the financial position of the common man.

              1) Whatever equipment was used by the hospital for the same Hospital recovered the price of the all equipment from the patients. For E.g. During my ICU admission, I was charged Rs 2600/- per day towards Monitor rent over and above the ICU charges.


              2) I had a mediclaim and when I got my mediclaim cashless approval then in that sheet it was mentioned that Hospital charges beyond the tariff agreed with the insurance company and accordingly instructed the hospital not to recover the Rs 1000/- from the Patient But Hospital recover this s 1000/- also from the patient.


              3) Unnecessary visit of Doctors during admission to the hospital.On the last day, Cardiologist visit me and she just asked me how are you I said alright and she was in the room for approx. 10-20 seconds and I was charged Rs 1200/- for that. I was not having any issues relating to Heart. My 2D report was the okay day before yesterday but the hospital wants to increase their billing so they continue doctor visit irrespective of whether there is a need or not.
              4) Overcharge/MRP charge on all the consumables by the HospitalThe hospital overcharged on all the consumables and everything on the MRP as there was no price regulation on non medicine items. Hospital took the full advantage of this by charging the patients. E.g a packet of wipes having 10 wipes costing Rs 100-150 in the market but the hospital charged Rs 499/- MRP as printed on the wipes which are also local wipes.


              I was told by the doctor to re-admit after 3 weeks of time to remove the stunt and Kidney stone but considering the above super over charging by the hospital i decided not to continue with Fortis specially Fortis Kalyan as my experience is very bad specially after seeing the 15 pages of bill of Rs 2, 28, 135/-.
              I am attaching herewith my cashless approval letter received from Mediclaim company and Fortis Hospital final bill amount and my payment receipt.
