Fortis Healthcare — Incorrect report handover | |
Hi, This is formal complaint against Case/docket number[protected]complaint registered in National Consumer Court). Patient name- Neha Sharma Registered Contact number at hospital -[protected] Patient UH ID- 7135236 On dated 7/June/2021 I came Fortis Hospital, Malviya nagar Jaipur from Ajmer along with my mother regarding Mammogram Test where at receptionist directed us Radiology Department but the girl named Archie who took screening was not experienced as after screening two times she was not sure again she asked for 3rd time for screening as we all know that Radiation rays are very harmful which can cause life in danger but with the thought we came only for this test in this COVID-19 situation as we heard and read that FORTIS HOSPITAL best in medical treatment and diagnosis so we go through 3rd time also but now this time i felt excruciating pain. After that we need to wait for the next 2 hours to get the report done, and later they handover incorrect report where it's mentioned lump in left breast as i'm having lump in right breast (one can easily seen as it is visible from outside) and this we only got to know when we consulted doctor as previously sonomammography has already been done, as we expected an accurate diagnosis. Who will compensate now other than cost time and money Since i suffered with mental agony and unbearable pain other adverse consequences from screening include my life in danger as now i can't go again in any other hospital for test due to radiation.what happen if surgery done on basis of incorrect/false report. Since it put my life in danger and we suffered a lot, we will take stringent action towards hospital staff/doctors and will not let it go at any cost so that such mishaps do not happen with anyone in future. So many campaigns are running to address the Breast cancer awareness but not expecting this pathetic and ridiculous services from Fortis hospital which cause somebody life in danger Enclosed are the copies of X-RAY, Medical Report.
