[Resolved] Fortis Healthcare — unavailability of room for swine flu patient and not responding to calls
I am asking for admission of a swine flu patient mrs. Asha prasad facing breathing problem since morningbin fortis noida. Ms. Ritu malhotra asked me to fill the form and told me that she would get a room available in 3 to 4 hours. As expected she didn't call and when i called her she told me to wait till evening. Then she stopped picking up my call. A person who is infected with swine flu, if her situation worsens, will your hospital take its responsibility? I have never experienced such poor services from other private hospital. I am planning to forward this complaint to consumer forum because of sheer negligence from your side. Was this information helpful?

The team in question has been briefed adequately to provide real-time update on bed availability and attend their queries. The city is facing its worst outbreak of Dengue and Swine flu fever and all hospitals are stretched to its capacity. Many patients are being provided first-aid in the Emergency rooms / triage, too. It's our endeavour not to inconvenience any patient. We have been informed that the patient is doing fine and recovering well. Should you require assistance at any of our hospitals, please write to us directly at [protected]@fortishealthcare.com Thanks & Regards, Fortis Healthcare

None of your representatives reached out. I connected with another person from your hospital mr.kuldeep who was determined enough to apologise for ms. Ritu's behaviour. And this whole nonsense continued for a day and multiple calls. Not a single time your concerned department bothered to call back for the welfare of patient. They are not interested in lives rather it's a business where when your rooms are full, your staff doesn't think it to be necessary to be concerned about rest of your patients.
