    I had recharged my vodafone mobile number with freecharge for rs. 852 and they have credited some random other number with this amount.

    On my contacting them for this mistake and asking them to revert the transaction their reply was blatant and irresponsible as pasted below:

    We regret to hear that your recent recharge with us was unsuccessful.

    As per our records the recharge was processed on the number 98*034 instead of 98*037. This is the reason for the recharge amount not reflecting on your account. The operator id for this transaction is mu[protected].

    Unfortunately, we are unable to reverse the transaction since the recharge amount could have already been used by the end user of that number.

    Kindly contact the operator for further assistance.

    I have no knowledge of whom the other number belongs to and why was my money credited to that number. When i contacted my mobile service provider vodafone, they informed that their system shows that recharge on my number was unsuccessful.

    So that means that since the recharge was unsuccessful, freecharge took their own liberty to credit my money to someone else's account and now hold no responsibility for it. This is a clear instance of fraudulent behavior on part of freecharge and i would never use their payment gateway ever again.

      I tried to recharge my following vodafone's phone number - [protected] (West bengal) with 955 internet package of 10 gb 3g data but i don't know that for some reasons it was not-at-all successful which was quite shocking for me since i couldn't find any valid reasons behind it that my vodafone's phone number - [protected] (West bengal) was not-at-all successfully recharged!!! And moreover i still not have received my full amount refund of rs.955/-...

      I have got the email from freecharge that, payment was unsuccessful and will be refunded in 2-3 working days. see attached snapshot.
      but still it is not received.
      Please help.

        I have send you the last 10 digit of order id. I have recharge to mobile number ([protected]) on 5 august but some reason it would be failed. I got a message that failed to recharge of 200 (Order id-fcvw[protected]) and your refund of 65 will be done to freecharge wallet and 135 to your card. It's thanks to that i got the rs of 65 in my wallet but remaining money of 135 still could not be credited in my bank account.

            The transaction made on 7th August through my free charge account is not authorized by me. Someone has hacked the account and made the transaction. See the alerts on 6th August when the hacker tried to change the phone number to make the transaction and on 7th, a transaction happened through clear trip.

              Did you get in touch with Freecharge customer care? You can either call their customer care to get the help of a customer care executive or you can post your complaint on their social media pages. It is highly irresponsible of such companies to not give a good service to people who have grievances.

              One course of action you can follow is go for a different, more trustworthy app. While facing a similar issue a few days back, I decided to read about good recharge apps, on research I came across Bill Bachao app. I read about its features and was compelled to try it once. Since the last two weeks I recharged my phone many times using this app but this app hasn’t failed me yet, not even once. Using Bill Bachao we can also activate and deactivate Do-Not Disturb(DND) and Value Added Services(VAS) whenever we want. We also receive updates on the latest plans and Bill Bachao guides us which plan will be better for our usage. In any case, if we ever get a transaction failure with this app. The best part is their customer care team is responsive, if you go to them with any grievance, they will try their best to resolve it.you can download this app here- http://bit.ly/ormbb

                    On aug 6, 2016
                    I tried to add a sum of 1200 to my wallet on 6 aug 2016, around 11am.
                    The sum of money is deducted from my bank account and is not added to my wallet.
                    And i haven't got any refund yet
                    Not even a message from freecharge regarding this fault.
                    I tried to reach the customer care no and no one is picking up the phone.

                          I hope you got in touch with Freecharge customer care? You can call their lines, talk to the customer care executive and see if he/she is able to resolve their problem. If they are not responding or giving an effective solution to your problem then you can resort to social media channels. Posting my complaints on social media pages is at times useful.

                          For a better experience, you can always switch to a different, more reliable app. I have been using a new app Bill Bachao that I downloaded from Google Play Store. In the last few weeks, I have recharged my phone several times with Bill Bachao. I faced a transaction issue once, but their executives returned my refund in the promised turn around period of 7 days. There are a number of other features too which you may find useful in your day to day life. There is a tracker that tracks our data, calls and texts. You can check for some of the best recharge plans available on Bill Bachao site. For choosing a favorable internet connection, this app has a feature that informs you about the network signal strength of each operator in your area. you can get this app here- http://bit.ly/ormbb

                            I am using freecharge since 4th august 2013, i did many transactions, the way you treat the customer is very irresponsible.
                            You don't have any customer care number to contact immediately if any fraud happens we need to forward mail.

                            My first mail on sunday 24/07/2016 10:21 am, after money deducted less than 24 hours i forwarded mail,

                            Ticket was raised on 24/07/2016 10:29 am, 4026978

                            I got a mail from risk on 25/07/2016 10:30 am, we are following up with our team on this & shall revert you shortly.

                            You are saying now : i. E is 06/08/2016 funds of rs. 4900 & 5000 was been diverted to different account via (Send_money option) & the same has been utilized towards at snapdeal on dated july 23, 2016.. Hence, we will not be able to reverse/cancel this transaction

                            We have refunded rs 400 to your freecharge wallet remaining amount product has been already
                            Delivered.


                            I f you are really working on the issue, you can stop the order which placed by fraud person by communicating snapdeal. Snapdeal will be having the order palced contact number and address.

                            The fraud money utilized through freecharge wallet payment to snapdeal order.

                            When the product is delivered to the customer?. This clearly shows that you are not at all working.

                            Freecharge and snapdeal both belongs to same company

                            How can u say that...

                            You might have accidentally stumbled on a phishing website in the past or you might have granted permission to unauthorized/suspicious website you visited to remember your username and password

                            I am aware of phishing website, i am using freecharge account since 2013 august.

                            Ince 25/08/2016 to 06/08/2016 you have forwarded four mails we are looking in the issue for my mails

                            How irresponsible you are, i want justice because of your irresponsible only the fraud money you are not able to stop.

                            I am aware of phishing website and i have not granted any permission to unauthorized/suspicious website my username and password

                            I am really thankful to freecharge, they final considered my problem as a godwill gesture they transfered my money 9900. I got below mail. On Tuesday, 23 August 2016 10:17 PM, "[email protected]" wrote: Hi Sunil, This is with regard to the unauthorized transaction on (23/07/16) on your FreeCharge account associated with this email ID. We regret the inconvenience caused to you. Our investigations suggest that your credentials were subject to a phishing attack by a suspected gang of fraudsters. The geographical location of the gang of fraudsters has been identified and we will work closely with law enforcement authorities to bring the fraudsters to justice. As a service gesture we have reversed the transaction dated 23/07/16 for amount Rs. 9900. As a safety measure, you will need to set a new password using the forgot password feature to access your FreeCharge account.                               This is the second time I'm giving complaint on consumercomplaints.in.
                              Freecharge not responded for my first complaint. Freecharge asked me to send proof of my identity to in block my freecharge account. I sent the documents on 29 July, 2016. Later I sent lot of emails but freecharge not responded. Again freecharge asked me to send proof of identity on 4 August 2016, so again I sent all of my documents. Again 3 days completed, but still they not yet unblocked freecharhe account. I have freecharge wallet money Rs.10, 000 in my account. Please file a high priority complaint against freecharge.

                                I have been a freecharge user for past 3 years. Yesterday morning i got a mail that Rs 2455 has been sent to some Alok Gupta Phone number [protected] and the transaction is successful. Inspite of complaining to Freecharge that i havent initiated any transaction and i am sure that noone is aware of my user ID and Password, they are not ready to help me out and saying the money cant be refunded. I have always heard of fraud these companies do but facing it for the first time.
                                Freecharge Payment Technologies / FreeCharge.in customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                I suddenly got sms from Freecharge that they have deducted 11, 000 rs from my freecharge account.

                                Hi Varun,
                                It’s very disappointing to read that you suffered such a big loss. That’s not the first time I have heard Freecharge committing such blunder. It’s scary to read about such problems. It’s one thing to lose a few hundred bucks in a transaction decline issue, but to lose almost 2500 bucks without any blunder of yours is sad. Why don’t you switch to a different app. Free charge has been giving troubles to many of its users, I being one of them, that’s why I switched to this app called Bill Bachao. I suggest people to quit using freecharge. This app has been great to me so far. It’s been a month and haven’t faced any issue including transaction decline issues or where they tell me recharge successful but no balance is credited to my account. Install this and make your life easier. It will also offer you a number of other great features as well which will help you curtail your billing expenses. It has a tracking feature that tracks your data consumption, text messages sent and number of calls. I find this feature really nice.you can get this app here -    http://bit.ly/ormbb

                                  I have added 10000 rupees to my freecharge account to pay electricity bill, due date is today. Now i am unable to process other transaction from PAYTM due to exhaustion of my monthly transaction limit of rupees 10000 towards freecharge. That proved waste. You have replied that I can withdraw money after 7 days. But the due date is today. solve it uregently

                                  Yesterday i tried for rehcahrge of Rs330/- to idea mobile no-[protected] but my SB ac in Allahabad Bank debited but no recharge was done. order no- FCVM[protected]. PL.look in to the matter and arrange for refund, . I have been using this free cahrge portal or the last more than 1 year and my bill amunt is minimum Rs 1000.per month.

                                    Hi sir, My freecharge account is ([protected]@gmail.com) already blocked. please refund my balance amount after then delete my account. I want to delete my account. If you can't do please let me know How can I remove my transaction history. For security reason I want to remove my all old transaction data. Please update me as early as possible. I am waiting for your prompt reply.

                                      Dear sir,
                                      I have added Rs.10, 000 to my freecharge wallet from my credit card to withdraw the same amount to my bank account after 7days. But my account got suspended. So I sent around 14 mails to reactivate my freecharge account with attached proofs/documents. But still my freecharge account not reactivated and I didn't receive replies even for my emails. Please raise a high priority complaint against freecharge to get my money back.
