I am writing this complaint against Freelancer.com regarding unfair locking of my funds and applying an outdated USD to INR conversion rate.
My earned funds on Freelancer.com have been locked for a long time without any valid reason. I had requested withdrawal earlier, but till date my funds have not been released.
Additionally, Freelancer.com has locked the USD to INR conversion rate at an old rate.
Even though the withdrawal is being delayed by them, they are not updating the conversion
rate as per the current date, which is causing me direct financial loss.
This is completely unfair and unethical because:
1. The delay is from Freelancer.com’s side.
2. Funds are locked without proper explanation.
3. Old exchange rate is being applied instead of current market rate.
4. Customer support is not resolving the issue properly.
I request the concerned authorities to intervene and direct Freelancer.com to:
• Release my locked funds immediately
• Apply the current USD to INR conversion rate
• Compensate for the unnecessary delay and harassment
Account details and proof screenshots can be provided if required.
This complaint is filed in good faith after repeated failed attempts to resolve the issue
directly with Freelancer.com support.
