You are not the only one in this as i was also involved with there fake promises as they refuse to let me withdraw or trade untill i check / w w w . Glowbancircuit . tech / after watching series of testimonies from other victims, i was able to get my funds out from them

I have been posting projects through freelancer.com and last week on 10th May, they had cancelled my account. Since, then I am not able to login to my account yet.

I have been having 4 Open Projects and a sum of around 33000 INR and all of sudden I lose all rights to my freelancer.com account.

Further, I have raised the Support Ticket and wrote an email to [protected]@freelancer.com. However, they neither gave me a valid reason for account cancellation nor tried to listen my views on it.

Its been 8 days, I have been continuously messaging Freelancer Support Team and requesting them to either revoke my account or allow me at least 15 days to close all running projects and withdraw my money. I have even mentioned the severity of the situation and how its impacting my business reputation if I will not be able to complete those projects on time.

So, I will request the Consumer Complaints Team to look into the matter and help me gain access to my account, pending projects and money in the account.

On April 7 I hired one of freelancer name Gaurav B.@gauravfullstack8
to make a school management system web app. so we discuss about the project and for starting the project i paid a milestones of rupees 1500 inr. 150 inr for project fees and 52.95 inr for deposit fee and i release the payment .But he promise to deliver the project on may 3 .but on 2nd may he block me from all source of communication .i tried contacting him with different contact but as soon as i talk he hung up the call. I worked with Freelancer.com over 2 years, had 60 reviews, all 5-stars, 100% of my orders were completed successfully and every my customer was highly satisfied — I provided good service and everything was fine. Then war started, I lived in Russia, so I moved to South East Asia 6 months ago and living in Vietnam now. I had 2000$ in my freelancer.com account, but when I tried to withdraw it in my new Vietnamese bank, they limited my account, asked some documents for verification, I sent documents, they didn't respond over a week and then just closed my account without any explanation. I didn't violate any rules, I just moved to another country. I'm kind of shocked by being scammed after two years of good work there.

I bid on a project which was all about proofreading a book in freelancer.com. They pinged me and asked me to communicate with their HR via whatsapp. After I pinged her, she explained me the project and asked 2700 INR for security purpose saying the book hasn't published yet so it's a security deposit which is refundable. She showed me some terms and conditions which was mentioning the same in the website itself. I paid the amount after which they asked me to pay the 10% commission which freelancing.com do charge from their freelancers. I am new to this so did not have any idea about that. They have showed me that they do charge from clients and freelancers. so I paid 4780 INR more!!! How stupid my action was. I could have use my brain that a client can't charge money from you! After that they said if I pay 4780 I will get 10000 as initial payment from the website. But after my payment, they stopped communicating and deleted their project from the website. I pinged them, tried to reach them out.. but couldn't!

I've started a dispute against a client which I worked alongside for days and vanished with the work without reply for days, leaving me without payment.
Freelancer.com policy is to pay a Tax of $7AUD for an arbitration which wasn't honest and didn't take up every evidence!
I've submited videos, screenshots, chat messages and a lot of evidences, while the other party only sent two messages.
They didn't considered ANY of my evidences of the complete work and (quickly) gave the result positive to the other party.
It's very sad and frustrating, since our life depends on our work.

Freelancer.com stole my money worth of 6500$ today and close my account permanently and Even I don't have anything related to unprofessional and my account is leading account right now with having 88 reviews and 5 star rating with all positive feedback
I've Launched almost 04 dispute worth of 2500$ but they just sending me the copy and past message we are sending the message we are contacting to client

After that they locked my funds of 800$ on security reasons that client is not verifying his/her identity if you have any issue so you have the content number just go and call them and release my funds what's my fault ? why they locked my funds?

After that I've 05 ongoing project which is almost on the final stage and I need to withdraw all the money then they closed my account because I need a refund of 96GBP of Corporate fee but Instead of giving back they close my account what is this nonsense ?
They are just a scammer not more then that, just stole all the money of all fair freelancer and running there company

We are a Consulting firm and wanted to use freelancer.com services in August 2021. On their platform the client pays when he hires a freelancer on the platform. After the deposit was made, we did not hire anyone. It was not possible to hire for a simple reason: after freelancer.com received the ID, they did not verified the account. So we asked freelancer.com to refund. From August 2021 to March 2022 the company mentioned above did not refund our deposit. They pretended they would, but they did not. They changed the settings of our account; it was then not possible to withdraw the deposited amount.

They are spying on us although we are not their customer, which is very weird, illegal and a crime. We are a European registered firm and the administrator of our account on freelancer.com is an African black female Student and intern. Freelancer.com indirectly insinuates that a young black student has no right to be international or to work for an international Consulting firm. This is an indicator of discrimination and racism. Let us also stress here that we are not users of their platform consequently their spying activities are illegal.

Freelancer.com support Team purposely created all sort of technical manmade issues to keep our deposit without our consent. They persecute us for our own property.

After 8 months of patience we realized that freelancer.com does not want to refund. What they do, must be called by name a systemic: Theft, defined in section 134 of the Criminal Consolidation Act 1935 (SA) as being where a person deals with property dishonestly, without the owner's consent and intending to deprive the owner of their property or make a serious encroachment on the proprietary rights of the owner.

I opt free trial for Freelance membership after 1 Month they took my money even i didn't sign agreement regarding payment they just said add payment details to verify your account that's it's but after 1 month they took payment from my PayPal without my authorization the amount was 848.

Few days ago I've registered myself for Freelancer.com Jobs on their official website where I provided my Name along with my email ID, contact number, age and other educational qualifications and later realized these are all scams and frauds prevailing in the name of jobs. Later I demanded to delete my Freelancer.com account along with my personal job qualification details on their website, but no action is taken yet. I simply want them to stop calling, messaging, WhatsApp messaging and emailing on my personal details and remove the data of mine permanently.

I had bid for online work from home of data entry, after a few minutes of bidding, i received pop up aRegistration fee applies!!

after that i replied on this email id. they ask me to pay security amount, i paid 20$ usd as registration fee from my paypal account, and they ask me to wait for 24 hrs and send me 30 images to type in msword with accuracy more that 80%, and within 48hrs, i comlete task within given time, my last 3 files were corrupted, i had informed them at time of submission of work, they told me i will get QC report within 48 hrs, i wait for it, but i had not received any qc report, and now after 72-96 hrs i am still waiting for

So its a quite responsibility of freelancer that he can give me the project or else if its a dispute client then to send the money back on my account...

So after communicating with the freelancer company they told me to talk with the client and fix this issue but now the client is not responding me, means i am not able to send the message to the client .

It is quite obvious that freelancer company itself posted that project and bid me after that he can blocked my message.

Hello. I was contacted also by this Juliet Minter and also she scammed me.
After I paid to her the security fee/ workstation fee 20$ she proceeded to ask me for more money to activate it.
I had just 7$ in my balance at that time, so I told her I cannot.
She asked me to send her even the 7$ so she will activate it... I am in a foreign country and probably she will never refund my payment as she already told me...

I paid 1650 througj freelancer of one of employeer.

It's a total fake website. Employers take security amount but don't give any project. Freelancers don't have any support to follow employer and take back their amount. I were cheated twice. So strongly recommend not to work through freelancer.com

Paypal — claim declined by paypal on account of subscription charges auto remitted to freelancer.com without my consent

I had reported an unauthorized transaction on 3rd of oct to paypal owing to a charge o[censored]sd $11.01 that equates to inr 848.70 in favor of freelancer.com made through paypal.

But this transaction was auto initiated without my consent. I had created a profile on freelancer.com on 3rd sep out of curiosity to find work outside my usual business commitments. I was never interested in signing up for a paid membership with freelancer. I was not aware of the process that there is an initial trail period post which charges are applicable outside the one month trial window. Without my consent this transaction has been initiated by paypal in favor of freelancer.com.

I raised a dispute on paypal (Asking them to reverse the charges back to my account.

They washed their hands off stating that i need to work this out with the seller (Freelancer.com/ [protected]@freelancer.com). I contacted the seller and raised an incident. I also visited freelancer.com and cancelled my subscription with them.

Later that day freelancer.com reversed the applicable subscription charges and initiated a refund. The chargeback claim has been cancelled by paypal.com.

I have been following up with paypal on this which they have confirmed today.

But they are contesting the refund initiated by freelancer.com stating that freelancer has not initiated refund using paypal. Instead merchant has issued refund to another payment method.

Also, the invoice id mentioned in the receipt is not from paypal. According to paypal, any transaction including refund, a 17 digit transaction id will be generated on merchant's paypal account. As of now, merchant has not yet issued refund through paypal.

I somehow feel that both freelancer and paypal are seeking to put the onus on each other and purposely trying to defer the refund process. I’m trapped in the midst of this wild goose chase without any positive outcome. I’m tired of asking the same questions every time. They are making me run pillar to post for no reason.

I fail to understand what nonsense is happening here?
They are simply beating around the bush wasting my time.

I just need to know in simple terms if i will get by refund back or not in my linked bank account? And they are hellbent on making a spectacle of this matter.

I have become a scapegoat to such unprofessional organizations like freelancer.com and paypal.com that i am being taken for a ride of my life.

I have open an account in freelancer.com, they deduct an mount of INR 760/- from my bank account without my concern, i wrote many times to them but they did not responsed. They are frauds and cheaters. Please help me.

I earned 350cad for a project on 30thjune20 (So had been working on that day and nights 2 week earlier than that).

Today is 07th august. Money gone from my account. Reason they gave is employer violated their terms so they closed their account and reversed the payment to their payment source.

Can they even think what they are saying? Let's say i worked with some employer (For some legitimate work) and he turned out to be a thief few months after that. Do the govt. Take even my money as well or just punish the thief. Here they took my hard earned money and gave back to that person. Plus they don't allow you to communicate them via other mediums. They don't even trust you with that.

And worst part, they earned 35$ of that 350$ project and they kept it (Deducted from my account). Isn't this an open fraud?

This is 2nd issue i have faced recently. Earlier one was resolved, but this is at heights. How am i supposed to believe any employer after this. Plus i have two milestones pending so that money is just gonna go as my balance is in minus.

I'm either getting my money back or closing my 8 years old profile with 100+ reviews and yes i have paid for a membership for whole year

I did a project got paid and the project got closed. I received the money in freelancer account. Now the freelancer have reversed the money back saying the violation of the employer. But what is my fault in that. Plz look into the matter.

Freelancer.com has become hub of cheaters and dacoits and the website itself help the clients to cheat freelancers easily. And if you complain about this to their support they will take action against you instead. These peoples steals money from your account without your consent. They literally survive on the blood of freelancers working on the platform. Bloody cheaters. They have all the means to verify freelancer's identity, payment method, adrress, photo. But they never care to verify any of them for client before letting client to put any money on the website.

This is how they have stolen 1100 usd and 440 euro.

i am add credit card after 1 week i am not realize there is not interesting anything so i want cancel my membership.

There is not have any option in freelancer app to cancel membership so i am request through email, they generate ticket regarding this and answer as you are trail and free user for 30 day and attach link for cancel membership.

That link not have any cancel membership option i am again email.

After all they charged 760 rs from my credit card i am again email regarding refund money against membership, but they argument with term of policy .

i am polidaly say them if there is not option to cancel membership, how can i cancel, and they not appreciate my email for cancel.

Please note that i have registered with freelancer.com less than a month back and a lady name miss. Kanika sent me a mail and said to deposite rs 2000 (Refundable) and after deposite she told me with in 24 hours you got the project. Then i deposited rs.2000 and sent her the proof of payment and she replied with in 24 hours got the project. After 20 days past she has given no project till now and i told to refund to my money but there is no reply.

I was working an freelancer developer in the freelancer.in site... I am working an project in january month... After complete this project client release the payment of $150usd and $16usd means client gives me the two milestones and total is $166usd and also give me the good review...

After this project same client give me the next project and after complete half of project client release the half payment of $138usd payment.. With good review...

After complete the rest of half project client release the payment of $139usd with good review..

Freelancer team deduct $443 usd from my account... I was compelete my work in time and get the good review and this was not my fault why client dispute his payment... After two month... Projects was already closed and client dispute without any reason so this is not my fault... And i was contacting with freelancer support but they not helped mee. I am in very stress... What was my fault... I was doing my good job thts why client give me his second project but if client was fraud that what was my fault... One of the freelancer employer taken 10000 rupees on 29th march 2019 from our end by saying they will get us a web designing project and asked me to pay that amount via paytm, after making the payment we are unable to get in touch with them. We have also complained to freelancer.com but still we have not receive any feedback from their end. Hence we are requesting you to please take steps to prevent such cyber crime. As per paytm policy a customer can not claim for refund after making payment and thats the reasons scammers are taking full advantages of paytm gateway for such criminal activity.

I joined freelancer.com back in 2010 under username tracersa. I worked day and night to establish that profile and after so much of hard work i managed to get 767 reviews, 100% completion rate, 100% on time, 100% on budget and repeat hire rate 49%

Due to an un intentional violation they closed my account. They closed it with a very good trick, infact they cheated

Let me tell all of you what happened with complete proof

I have worked with a customer under freelancer assistance, so called a recruiter project and once all was done, customer reversed the payment and i asked the support to help and they said, they cannot do anything if reversal is done

After a week same customer came with new username, i worked he did the same, i didnt knew it before he again reversed the payment and told in chat, stupid i am the same guy, i again informed the support and they did nothing

3rd time again same guy came under new username and location. Just to confirm it he is same person or not, i told him i will not work via freelancer i will work via skrill, just to test him and check so if he is the same guy he would have not agreed.

He was not the same person, and i took the payment via freelancer, so that i dont breake the rule,,, then after no where a month afterwards he told freelancer support that i asked him for the payment outside, though we made payment onsite, they issued me with a warning stating i should not do this again, i said sorry and they said not repeat it and i said sure and again said sorry

Then after a few days, the recruiter/support agent asked me for a skype call so that they can ask me a few questions, i did that and i was told, now all is good, i am good to work again.. I said sorry again and told them i will not repeat that mistake again and made them feel okay..

Then he asked me a few questions which really shocked me

1- it is not possible to have such stats. There must me some thing fishy. These are his exact words... I told that agent, my working technique is, i never accept the project, once i complete it,, customer is happy then i accept and take payment. That is the main reason i am able to have such stats

2- he asked me, why i am taking offsite payments, i told him, proof me or send me one screenshot where i asked for outside/off site payment except on that only occasion, he had no answer to it

Note: he was just trying to look for any reason to close the profile, i still dont know why

In short after having lots of chats and tickets etc, i was told that i am all good and can continue to work. But before that i need to finish in progress projects with perfection

I worked days and night to finish them asap.. When i did and received the payments, they simply closed my account

Freelancer.com is actually a big fraud.com marketplace. They have a huge base of cyber criminal & even freelancer.com employees are part of this gang. 90% of the time you get ping from the fraudster. Either they will ask you to pay some fees initially & in some cases they will release money to you, however after some time freelancer will reverse that money from your account. They are a bunch of big cheaters & this site should be ban immediately which is actually run by cyber criminals.

Apaara technology's which is registered on freelancer.com has taken one task @ 5000/- inr and has taken 2000/- inr advance but he has not done any work after taking advance he is not picking up my phone please do not make any deal with freelancer.com they are cheat people you will lost your money and time both fraud people beware with them. This is a fraud with the customers like us.

I have to complain against freelance.com. They cheated me. I am a bidding a project. They were message me that if i am interested in their project then send them a mail from my email i'd to their given email i'd. I was doing everything what is they said to the. Through mail they told me that before starting the next process purchase their work station. Which price is euro 12.99. Send this amount in their mentioned skrill account. After paying the fees they never gave me any project. Even when i have complained in this side they also not reply me. After 1week that freelancer send me same mail again. But in that mail their was a another skrill account. Please help me to solve my issues.
